Gratitude fills our hearts today as we share this meaningful moment from Southern Philippine College Inc. 🤍

We are truly blessed to witness the kindness and generosity of our school leaders Dr. Shane C. Galon, School President, together with our dedicated School Administrator, Mrs. Evelyn Tenefrancia, and our Vice President of Academic Affair, Mr. Reynaldo S. Alcala. They personally extended their support by distributing 5 kilos of rice to our Grade 7 students, showing that true leadership goes beyond guidance in the classroom it also means caring for the well-being and needs of every learner.

In times when a little help can make a big difference, this simple but meaningful act of sharing brings warmth and hope to our students and their families. MESSAGE FROM OUTGOING CSC PRESIDENT!🫡

"I'M NOT A PERFECT PRESIDENT, BUT I GIVE EVERYTHING I CAN!"

Sabi nga sa isang kilalang kasabihan: "Huwag kang matakot na masira. Ang gatas na panis ay nagiging yogurt, at mas mahal ang yogurt kaysa sa gatas. At kapag ang yogurt ay lalong tumagal, ito ay nagiging keso — na mas mahal pa kaysa sa yogurt!"

Kaya huwag kang matakot na magkamali, dahil ang bawat pagkakamali ay bahagi ng ating pagkatuto at paglago.

Parang kailan lang, tumakbo ako bilang miyembro ng konseho at nagsilbi bilang Senador sa loob ng dalawang taon, at sa sumunod na dalawang taon naman, namuno ako bilang Pangulo ng ating minamahal at iginagalang na Konseho. Hindi naging madali ang aking naging takbuhin. Buong puso kong itinaguyod ang karapatan ng bawat mag-aaral. Patunay nito ay ang "MAKULAY YAKAPI KA" — isang organisasyong para sa komunidad ng LGBTQIA+ — at ang "FREE IFTAR" para sa ating mga kapatid na Muslim sa SPCi. Isinulong din natin ang kanilang kalusugan at kaligtasan. Ang patunay nito ay ang aming inilunsad na "STUDENT CARE" — isang emergency insurance para sa lahat ng mag-aaral, g**o, at kawani ng paaralan — kasama na rin ang "MEDICAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM" at iba pang mga resolusyon na naglalayong protektahan ang mga mag-aaral at kanilang mga karapatan sa loob ng paaralan.

Kinilala rin namin ang suliranin ng maraming estudyante na namamalagi sa mga boarding house, lalo na sa mga lugar na malayo sa bayan. Dahil dito, isinagawa namin ang "LINGAP SA MAG-AARAL PROGRAM", kung saan namahagi kami ng bigas at mga pangunahing pangangailangan. Alam kong ito ay maliit na tulong lamang, ngunit nang makita ko ang saya at ngiti sa kanilang mga mata, napatunayan kong malaki ang ibig sabihin nito para sa kanila. Hindi rin namin nakalimutan ang mga bata sa malalayong lugar; namahagi kami ng mga gamit-paaralan at nagpakain sa iba’t ibang paaralan sa Labason at Gutalac sa pamamagitan ng aming "LET'S CSC PROGRAM".

Kumatok ako sa inyong mga puso at pumasok sa inyong mga tahanan. Nakita ko ang tunay na takbo ng inyong pamumuhay at nakisalamuha ako sa inyo. Naniniwala kasi ako na hindi ko kayo matutulungan nang lubusan kung hindi ko kayo lubusang makikilala at malalaman ang inyong mga pangangailangan. Isa pang mahalagang proyekto ay ang "CSC SCHOLARS", kung saan sinagot namin ang buwanang bayarin sa paaralan ng mga napiling mag-aaral. Kahit sa ganitong paraan lamang, masaya kami na nakatulong upang maituloy ninyo ang inyong mga pangarap na makapagtapos.

Kasabay ng mga proyektong ito, buong lakas at dedikasyon din naming sinuportahan ang malalaking aktibidad at programa ng paaralan. Ang lahat ng tagumpay na ito ay hindi magiging posible kung wala ang tulong at pagtutulungan ng bawat miyembro ng konseho. Naalala ko pa noong una, ang aking layunin ay bumuo lamang ng isang samahan o grupo, ngunit sa huli, higit pa roon ang aking nabuo — isang pamilya. Isang pamilyang hindi perpekto, ngunit tapat, totoo, at laging handang magdamayan sa isa’t isa.

Natutunan ko rin na ang tunay na pamumuno ay hindi nasusukat sa talino o sa galing magsalita. Ang tunay na lider ay may pusong marunong umunawa at handang harapin ang anumang hamon para sa kapakanan ng lahat.

Maraming salamat sa pagbibigay sa akin ng pagkakataong makapaglingkod sa inyo at sa ating paaralan. Tunay na karangalan ang tawagin akong "CSC PRESIDENT". At kung magkakaroon man ng pagkakataong bumalik at magsilbi muli... ito pa rin ang unang hahanapin ko.
