They serve as natural barriers against storm surges and coastal erosion, provide shelter and breeding grounds for countless marine species, improve water quality, and store vast amounts of carbon that help combat climate change. Last Friday, the YES-O conducted a special election to fill two important positions in our organization. We officially elected our new ๐‘ฎ๐’“๐’‚๐’…๐’† 7 ๐‘น๐’†๐’‘๐’“๐’†๐’”๐’†๐’๐’•๐’‚๐’•๐’Š๐’—๐’† and ๐‘ป๐’“๐’†๐’‚๐’”๐’–๐’“๐’†๐’“, following the transfer of our former treasurer to another school.

A year ago, we planted trees with hopes of creating a greener future. Today, on Arbor Day, we returned to those same treesโ€”not to plant new ones, but to witness the growth of the ones we once nurtured.

Through our monitoring visit of the ๐‘ฎ๐’“๐’†๐’†๐’ ๐‘ณ๐’†๐’ˆ๐’‚๐’„๐’š trees planted in ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“, we were reminded that true environmental responsibility goes beyond planting. It is about ensuring that every seedling we plant has the chance to grow and thrive.

As we celebrate ๐‘จ๐’“๐’ƒ๐’๐’“ ๐‘ซ๐’‚๐’š, we reaffirm our commitment to protecting and caring for the environment, one tree at a time. ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ’š
