Led by ๐‘จ๐’“๐’„๐’‰๐’Š๐’•๐’†๐’„๐’• ๐‘ญ๐’“๐’‚๐’๐’„๐’Š๐’” ๐‘ต๐’†๐’Š๐’ โ€œ๐‘น๐’‚๐’โ€ ๐‘ฉ. ๐‘ธ๐’–๐’Š๐’‹๐’‚๐’๐’, prime mover, lead agritech, and LSA (Learning Site for Agriculture) Cooperator of Agritektura Enterprises, a farmer whose farm is certified by the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), the project showcases modular smart farms: permaSHIP, pocketSHIP, and portaSHIP, which combine Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS), automated water monitoring, and aquaponics. The initiative demonstrates efficient, sustainable, and urban-ready farming that produces healthy fish and plants while minimizing labor, waste, and environmental impact.

Through this project, Agritektura Enterprises seeks to empower communities and startup aquapreneurs while contributing to food security, sustainable agriculture, and resilient urban farming solutions.

Romblon State University, with funding support from DOST-PCAARRD, is implementing this 3-year R&D initiative (May 2024 to April 2027). The breeding farm will be established at RSUโ€“Agpudlos Campus, San Andres, Romblon. The initiative focuses on structured breeding, forage development, performance evaluation, and sustainability assessment to support farmers and ensure long-term productivity.
