Despite the delay, the interested junior high students of BSU-SLS and some students from other schools actively participated during the said seminar held at the BSU-SLS Projection Room on April 28, 2026.
BSP Chairman Jannledor D. Pingalo discussed about Emergency Preparedness, highlighting the agencies involved in dealing with emergencies and the essential evacuation drills. He ended the discussion with the quote, "Hope for the best, but be prepared for the worst."
In addition to the first topic, Sir Aaron Marc G. Calya-en from the LGU, had a unique way of discussing the Roles of Youth in Disaster. He engaged the students in a roleplay activity with an unexpected twist, reminding the students to always think outside the box when a disaster happens.
To close the seminar, Sir Jostice W. Baquilan expressed his gratitude to the speakers and participants.
