Last August 15, members of the READ Society had the privilege of attending the youth seminar-workshop organized by the Walk the Talk Society, centered around the powerful theme "RUGI: Rooted and United Growing Individuals.

"It was a day filled with critical learning and personal growth. We gained invaluable insights from Ma'am Krisha Bugaling during her crucial discussion on HIV awareness, followed by an impactful session on Mental Health Awareness led by Sir Cashmir Cabalo. Both topics are so vital for today's youth!

To top it all off, we got to connect with our heritage as the BSU Kontad cultural group taught everyone the traditional Bendian dance. 💃🎶

Thank you to the organizers and speakers for such an enriching and empowering experience. The READ Society is proud to stand rooted and united with you all! 🤝📚

Read Society successfully conducted its first reading tutorial on July 31,2026. The tutorial was led by the READ Society officers. Through this activity, we hope to help learners strengthen their reading skills while creating a fun, supportive, and encouraging learning environment.

Learning becomes more meaningful when we help one another. A heartfelt thank you to all the tutors and learners who made our tutoring activity a success. Every lesson shared, every smile, and every effort made has inspired growth and confidence.

Together, we are making a difference—one learner, one story, and one step at a time.

Here's to many more opportunities to learn, grow, and inspire!

First Clean-Up Drive Accomplished!

Last July 29, 2026, Read Society came together to make their surroundings cleaner and better for everyone.

Thank you to all the officers and members who gave their time and effort to make this activity a success. Every small act of service creates a big difference.

On July 23, 2026, the Read Society Club successfully conducted its Reading Tutorial Seminar, that gave everyone the knowledge, strategies, and inspiration they need to guide young learners effectively.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our speaker, Ma'am Jeneva Oide, for generously sharing your time, experience, and valuable insights that will really help us. We also extend our sincere thanks to our co-adviser Ma'am Tallocoy and our adviser, Ma'am Caysoen, for your guidance and unwavering support in making this activity possible.

Lastly, thank you to everyone who attended and actively participated. Your enthusiasm and dedication made this seminar a meaningful and successful one. Together, let's continue to inspire a love for reading—one learner at a time.
