There are no classes at all levels and no office services at all SCI campuses tomorrow, August 21, 2026, a nationwide special non-working day (Ninoy Aquino Day).

Office services at all campuses will resume on August 22, 2026, and classes at all campuses will resume on August 24, 2026.

There are no face-to-face classes at all levels tomorrow (August 20, 2026) as declared by the Provincial Government of Benguet, pursuant to the directive of the Office of the President of the Philippines.

Alternative learning modalities and other learning continuity measures shall continue.

. Pursuant to the directive of Office of the President through Memorandum Circular No. 131, Governor Dr. Melchor Daguines Diclas said that face-to-face classes in all levels, both public and private, are still suspended on Thursday, August 20.

According to the Memorandum, schools shall implement appropriate alternative learning modalities and other learning continuity measures, as may be feasible, to ensure that learning activities continue while face-to-face classes are suspended.

Schools are encouraged to implement appropriate alternative learning modalities and other learning continuity measures, as may be feasible, to ensure that learning activities continue while face-to-face classes are suspended.

As ordered by the Office of the President of the Philippines tonight, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures shall be implemented in Benguet tomorrow (August 19, 2026) unless otherwise directed by the local chief executives.

ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOV’T OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 19

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 129, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 19, 2026:

📍 Oriental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.
