The recently concluded 𝘾𝙊𝙎𝙃 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 held on March 16–19 brought together Civil, Electrical, and Industrial Engineering students in a meaningful and enriching learning experience focused on occupational safety and health. The activity strengthened students’ competence, teamwork, and preparedness as future engineers committed to promoting safe and responsible engineering practices.

𝘞𝘦 𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘧𝘦𝘭𝘵 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘥 𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘳𝘴, 𝘚𝘪𝘳 𝘎𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘙𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘴, 𝘚𝘪𝘳 𝘙𝘶𝘥 𝘛𝘶𝘥𝘰𝘳 𝘎𝘶𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘻 𝘈𝘣𝘢𝘥, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘪𝘳 𝘑𝘢𝘤𝘰𝘣 𝘚𝘢𝘺𝘵𝘰𝘤, 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘭𝘺 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴.

We also thank 𝘼𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝘽𝙖𝙜𝙪𝙞𝙤 for the successful collaboration and continued support in making this training possible.

𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘃𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀, 𝘄𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗶ñ𝗼 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮ñ𝗲𝗱𝗮.

A remarkable leader and mentor, he served as the President of the PICE Benguet Chapter and was a steadfast supporter of the PICE-BSU Student Chapter. He has always had the heart to support and help, never hesitating to extend his time, knowledge, and guidance to those in need. His unwavering dedication to the organization and to the growth of future engineers was truly admirable.

Engr. Castañeda never failed to show his presence whenever he was invited to events, consistently showing his support through meaningful participation, generously offering words of wisdom and encouragement that left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege to listen. His life has touched many, and his influence will continue to shape the paths of those he inspired. He was more than a leader, he was a role model.
