As part of our Food Technology Week celebration, we conducted our Institutional Tour at DA-BABRC, an experience that allowed us to connect classroom knowledge with real-life applications in the dairy industry.
We had the opportunity to witness the actual milking of cows and explore the different processing areas where raw milk is transformed into high-quality products such as pasteurized milk, yogurt, pastillas, and cheese. Seeing each step of the process up close gave us a deeper understanding of food safety, quality control, and product development.
This tour not only enhanced our technical knowledge but also inspired us as future food technologists to value innovation, sustainability, and excellence in food processing.
Truly a meaningful and memorable experience filled with learning, discovery, and appreciation for the people behind dairy production.
