A MID-YEAR UPDATE 🌤️

Hello, hello! We’ve been a little quiet on social media, but we are still here. 😊

Lately we’ve been hard at work running our Summer Programs — for the first time in two locations!

It’s been a full season. We had such an enthusiastic batch of kids who kept showing up, ready to learn. We have seen amazing results, and we are excited to share more about what we've been learning along the way.

We also have a few updates about what's next for Liv, which we’ll be sharing here soon. 👀

Pero sa ngayon, nais lang po naming magpasalamat (at magpahinga ng kaunti hehe! )

If you’ve been with us from year one, or if this was your first time joining us, THANK YOU PO. 🙏🏼🩵 Thank you for partnering with us, and for being part of this meaningful, exciting work. Until the next one!

Sincerely,
Ts Ajan, Bea, Zee, Louise and Ivah

💭 “WHO MADE THAT?”

A question we often hear from children in the classroom—and one we always love answering. It’s a joy to tell them that there are books out there by Filipino illustrators: thoughtfully made, rich in detail, and mindful of context. 🇵🇭

Maraming salamat po! 😊

✂️ “Hiya” and “Sungit” illustrated by Liza Flores ( )
🦏 “Ang Munting Rinosero” / “Little Rhino Lost” illustrated by Jamie Bauza ( )
🍰 “Hating Kapatid” and “Sayaw ng Mga Kamay” by Fran Alvarez ( )
⛵️ “Mga Sasakyang Pandagat sa Pilipinas” illustrated by Angela Taguiang-Reverente ( )

In a fast-paced and overstimulated world, reading helps children slow down. ☁️🐢They learn deeply. They focus. They ask questions. They relate to characters and travel to different worlds. 🗺️

What a sight to behold: children away from screens, fully present and lost in a good book. 🍃

At Liv Language, we help your child build foundational skills through the power of stories. Let us raise a generation that reads— one child at a time. 🤝🏼
