The Cordillera Regional Science High School (CRSHS) Math Club, conducted a learning exposition on mathematics investigation last April 4, 2023 at the La Trinidad National High School in Lubas, La Trinidad, Benguet.
The learning exposition was organized by Math Club President Thaniea Jaye Flores, Vice President Dave Pataras, Club Adviser Ma'am Heather Banagui and other math club officers as part of the clubโs objectives to provide opportunities for students to share knowledge on mathematical investigation.
During the exposition, the Math Club discussed an introduction on what composes mathematical investigation, explained the different steps involved, and facilitated a short workshop for students to apply their learnings.
"Uhm through the activity, nakita and na assess namin yung understanding ng mga estudyante and kung gaano sila ka-interesado sa math investigation (The activity allowed us to see and assess the studentsโ understanding and interest in mathematical investigation)," said Flores. "Nakadagdag rin kami sa kuriosidad ng mga estudyante at na-engage namin sila sa kung ano nga ba ang halaga ng math research (We were able to enhance the curiosity and engage the participants on the value of math research)."
Club President Flores still considers the learning exposition successful in promoting math investigation to students in and out of CRSHS.
With this achievement, the Math Club hopes to make the exposition an annual event and create more initiatives to help students appreciate and excel in mathematics.

๐ถ๐ ๐ซ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐,๐๐๐๐- Thaniea Jaye K. Flores and Dave J. Pataras, elected president and vice president of the Math Club Organization at Cordillera Regional Science High School, joined hands together with the other math club officers, conducted a successful simulation on their Project Mathalino Program, a program that aims to provide assistance to students struggling with the subject of mathematics.
The program's objective is to conduct tutorial sessions specifically for students in need of remedial support, especially in the field of mathematics. It aims also to provide an avenue for learners to share their knowledge in mathematics to their fellow students during study/tutor sessions.
Meanwhile, eight students actively participated in this initiative, receiving instruction from dedicated club officers and was facilitated by Maโam Amethyst Taqued, adviser of Grade 11-Copper.
In addition to the tutoring sessions, the students engaged in interactive activities giving them problem related to the topics discussed designed to assess and evaluate their learning progress.
The activity concluded at 4:00 PM, leaving the students not only with newfound knowledge but also with evident joy and satisfaction from their participation. //DJP
