Students who need a subject to be opened because they previously failed it or were unable to enroll during its regular offering may submit a request through the Subject Opening Request Form. Their study, “Phishing on Public Wi-Fi: A Cyber Kill Chain Framework Approach to User Vulnerability,” reveals how Evil Twin attacks weaponize familiar network names, urgency, and our instinct to trust “free” connectivity.

The warning is clear: verify before connecting, and treat every unfamiliar network as untrusted.

Because the most dangerous network may be the one that looks completely normal.

CIT has successfully completed an intensive five-day Capacity-Building Training and Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity, equipping its faculty with current knowledge, emerging tools, and practical insights for navigating today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape.

As AI and cybersecurity continue to converge at unprecedented speed, CIT remains committed to keeping its faculty—and ultimately its students—prepared for the technologies shaping the future.

The training was facilitated by Ginard Guaki, who guided the participants through the possibilities, challenges, and real-world applications emerging at the intersection of intelligent systems and digital security.
