The College of Information Technology of King’s College of the Philippines is among the academic units whose initiatives contributed to the institution's recognition in the 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐖𝐔𝐑𝐈) 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 under the leadership and support of President Ae Jin Kwon.

Through the 𝐒𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐊 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 (𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞-𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠), spearheaded by CIT Dean Ginard S. Guaki, the college continues to promote research collaboration, community engagement, knowledge-sharing, and innovation-driven learning that support future-ready education.

The college also contributed to the institution’s recognized research output through the published study titled “𝘡𝘦𝘳𝘰 𝘛𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘚𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘪𝘯 𝘞𝘍𝘈 𝘗𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘴: 𝘈 𝘓𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘙𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘸 𝘰𝘧 𝘗𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘴, 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘉𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘗𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴,” authored by CIT student researchers under the guidance of Sir Ginard S. Guaki.
