Tawang ES Alumni

Today, Tawang Elementary School faculty headed bybthe new Principal Sir Jerome Tulic, pupils, some parents, former principals, Ma'am Esther Rizaldo and Sir Mark Binay-an, and our PSDS, Sir Delarosa V. Delmas paid tribute to Ma'am Evelyn Tagtag through the Mabuhay Pasasalamat Program. Ma'am Evelyn is one of the longest serving teacher of Tawang Elementary School. She spent 34years and a month in her teaching career and today, her retirement in the service was officially announced.
For sure, she is one of the most memorable teacher not only to her colleagues but most of all to her former students. She is mostly remembered teaching EPP, TLE, and HELE subjects where she taught her students culinary, agricultural, entrepreneurial and tailoring skills.
Personally, I remember her being our EPP teacher way back when I was in Grade 5. I still can vividly remember her when she taught our class how to make tomato jam, and preserved mangoes in a jar. When our preserves were fermented, she brought our class at the grassland area at the back of our school and we had a 'picnic' with our preserves. That was a memorable moment with her as our teacher. 😊.
Moments like this make me reflect the impact of a teacher to the lives of her students. Indeed, teaching is the noblest profession because it is more of giving yourself away for others welfare than receiving something for yourself. 💪

No words can truly express how grateful we are to her as our colleague, and as my former teacher.

With regards to my previous post about our project "Donate a Book, Empower a Mind" in which Tawang Elementary School is our chosen beneficiary, in case you have some story books or learning materials you want to donate, or if you are willing to donate something or have some inquiries, please don't hesitate to contact me in my messenger account (Kaziel Padilan). I am most willing to pick your donation po in your location starting this Thursday (March 14) to (Saturday) March 16.

May I ask po baka po adda kenyayo ti addo kids story books na nga haan en nga maus usar ken nakadulin nga baka kayat u nga i-donate po para jay project mi nga "Donate a Book, Empower a Mind."
This project aims to gather and collect story books or other manipulative learning materials suited for elementary learners (except po sana for textbooks) to be donated to our recipient school which is Tawang Elementary School po para po adda po maikabil jay Bahay Pagbasa jay school nga mabalin apan basbasaen dagijay ubbing during their free time.👍😊
In case adda po kayat na nga agdonate, you may reach me po ditoy account ko po, just send me a PM po for us to pick them up po sa area niyo or if you can bring po sa Tawang ES, you may see me po sa Grade II-B classroom...😊😊
