Longlong Elementary School participated in the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement entitled โBinnadang for Mental Healthโ on February 19, 2026, spearheaded by the Local Government of La Trinidad through the Office of the Municipal Mayor. The initiative was led by Roderick Awingan, with the school officially represented by School Principal Johnson B. Legaspi.
The partnership aims to strengthen the implementation of various mental health programs across the municipality, with Longlong Elementary School identified as one of the participating institutions. Through this collaboration, the school will receive support in addressing mental health concerns among learners and personnel. The agreement highlights the shared commitment of the local government and the school to promote mental wellness, provide appropriate interventions, and foster a supportive and responsive learning environment through coordinated assistance and sustained collaboration.

On February 22, 2026, Longlong Elementary School conducted a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing for school support and donations with Kafagway Lodge No. 26 and Aguman Lodge No. 45, sponsored by PLDT-Smart Gabay G**o.
The partners generously donated 10 Acer Aspire E11 laptops, 50 Smart Bro LTE Pocket WiFi units, and 10 SMART Rocket SIM cards. Thirty-five learners from Grades 4โ6 received pocket WiFi units and SIM cards to support online learning and improve digital access. The laptops will be utilized for digital instruction, online examinations, and other technology-based learning activities.
The activity was attended by members of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF) led by Noble Grand Karolus Kolodzik of Kafagway Lodge No. 26 and Noble Grand Eliseo T. Pineda Jr. of Aguman Lodge No. 45, together with the school personnel and learner-beneficiaries.

A heartfelt thank you to Alive Now Kids Philippines and PVEP (Philippine Values Education Program) for conducting a meaningful outreach program. ๐ Our Grades 4โ6 learners received free slippers, snacks, and lunch, and both teachers and learners enjoyed fun games and activities. Longlong Elementary School received a Plaque of Recognition on December 16, 2025, after being named a regional finalist for the Gawad Kordilyera 2025. The recognition was conferred in acknowledgment of the schoolโs sustained practices and notable contributions to the implementation of disaster preparedness, disaster risk reduction, and climate change adaptation programs within the community, demonstrating its strong commitment to resilience-building.
Plaque of Recognition was formally received by the School Principal, Mr. Johnson B. Legaspi, and the School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Coordinator, Mr. Oliver S. Laurian Jr. The recognition is attributed to the collective efforts of the school personnel, learners, parents, School PTA, stakeholders, partners, and other individuals who have consistently supported the programs, projects, and activities of Longlong Elementary School aimed at ensuring a safe and disaster-resilient learning environment.
