📢 NO CLASSES TODAY | AUGUST 18, 2026

Due to the continuous inclement weather, classes at all levels in Benguet are suspended today, August 18, 2026.

☔ Stay safe, everyone! Please take necessary precautions and avoid unnecessary travel.

Due to heavy rainfall caused by the Southwest Monsoon, face-to-face classes are suspended and Alternative Work Arrangements (AWA) shall be implemented on August 18, 2026.
Vice Presidents, Campus Administrators, and unit heads are tasked with overseeing the implementation of these measures across their respective areas. Heads of offices are directed to determine employee work arrangements and maintain a sufficient on-site skeleton workforce for essential, frontline, and critical services, such as security, health, laboratory care, and maintenance.
AWA is not an automatic work-from-home setup so remote staff must remain responsive during official work hours and office heads must monitor productivity and attendance. All university personnel must comply with Civil Service Commission rules and existing regulations, with the directive effective on August 18, 2026, unless updated by further government issuances.

In line with our commitment to transparency and proper governance, we present the proposed changes in the College of Arts and Humanities-Student Government Constitution and BYLaws (CAH-SG CBL) during the College General Assembly held at the University Gymnasium on July 24, 2026, in strict accordance with our current guidelines.

As stated in Article X, section 2:
This Constitution and By-Laws may only be amended by an affirmative vote of two-thirds of all the council members, provided that the proposed amendment is presented in a meeting called for that purpose and copies thereof be sent/given to all members and posted in the official CAH-SG page at least three days prior to the meeting.

We call for your power to ratify our current CBL. Together with the leaders, let us move towards our holistic development and champion our core values: Humility, Compassion and Unity, Unity and Efforts, Consistency and Perseverance.
