Dish Garden is a garden of plants growing in a shallow dish or bowl for a container. It can be landscaped to represent a scene in nature, it is a miniature ecosystem (Aggie Horticulture).

TERRARIUM also called glass garden, wardian case, or vivarium. It is a miniature gardens, housed inside small- and usually sealable conatainers like bottles and jars. They are mostly self-sustaining, with the plants watering themselves through transpiration and condensation (Horticulture Britannica).

"BONSAI", an art of creating a miniaturized but realistic representation of nature in the form of a tree. In short, a tree which is planted in a shallow container (Bonsai em).

" Training on Landscaping, Dish Garden, Terarrium Making and Bonsai Making Part 2", was successfully implemented thru the initiative of IP organization " Shakilan Ne Ekulos, Bokod and Benguet State University, College of Agriculture, Department of CropScience.

NEVER STOP LEARNING!

A success of training is dependent on the willingness of the participants to learn!

The department conducted an extension activity entitled " Training on Ornamental Crop Production, Management and Identification" at Maam Glory Beray's Residence, Poblacion, Bokod thru the initiative of SHAKILAN NI IKOLUS organization. This organization is an IP group composed of elders from different barangays of Bokod. NO MATTER YOUR AGE, NEVER STOP LEARNING!

The picture shows the participants with the invited Resource Speakers Maam Alma A. Amado and Maam Leila Mary A. Ayban along with the staff of the department and College of Agriculture, Maam Joyce L. Bandisa, Maam Lentena L. Pingaping and Maam Claire C. Pulacan.

The participants also requested the following to be extended in the next series.
-flower arrangement
-terrarium making, dish gardening and bonsai making
-plant breeding
-aquaculture
-coffee making to cupping
-how to make organic fertilizers
-composting
-landscaping
