A significant milestone in advancing Science, Technology, and Engineering (STE) education was marked on February 19, 2026, as Guevara High School successfully hosted the STE Regional Validation, affirming the school’s commitment to quality, innovation, and excellence in science education.

The regional validation was officially conducted and validated by 𝘿𝙧. 𝙋𝙖𝙪𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙤 𝘿. 𝘿𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙤, Chief of the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) of the Schools Division Office of Tarlac Province, together with 𝘿𝙧. 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙤 𝘾. 𝘿𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙤, Education Program Supervisor I in Science. Their presence underscored the importance of maintaining high standards in the implementation of the STE program and ensuring its alignment with national and regional educational goals.

The activity was widely supported by key stakeholders, reflecting strong community collaboration. Among the attendees were 𝙈𝙖𝙙𝙖𝙢 𝙅𝙤𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙮𝙣 𝘽. 𝙈𝙖𝙙𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙜𝙖- PSDS LA PAZ NORTH DISTRICT, representatives from the Local Government Unit of Barangay Guevara, led by 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙤𝙨 𝙍. 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙤, Barangay Captain of Guevara. Also present were members of the School Governing Council (SGC), headed by 𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙢𝙤 𝙁𝙖𝙟𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙤, along with SGC officers, and SSES PARENTS highlighting a unified support system for learners and educators alike.

The proposed STE program is a product of visionary leadership and collaborative planning spearheaded by the school administration. The initiative is led by 𝘿𝙧. Alexander Racca Amigo, Principal III, whose leadership has been instrumental in steering the school toward innovation-driven education. Working alongside him is 𝙑𝙞𝙧𝙜𝙞𝙚 𝙇𝙞𝙯𝙯𝙖 𝘽. 𝙎𝙞𝙣𝙤 𝘾𝙧𝙪𝙯, Master Teacher I and Teacher-in-Charge of the Science Department, who played a pivotal role in conceptualizing and strengthening the STE framework anchored on inquiry-based, learner-centered, and future-ready instruction with the help of SCIENCE,MATH and ENGLISH teachers.

During the validation, evaluators reviewed the school’s readiness, curriculum alignment, facilities, instructional strategies, and stakeholder engagement. Constructive feedback and commendations were shared, further guiding the school in refining its STE implementation to meet regional standards.

The successful conduct of the STE Regional Validation reflects Guevara High School’s unwavering dedication to nurturing scientifically literate, innovative, and globally competitive learners. With strong leadership, committed teachers, and active community support, the school stands poised to become a model institution in STE education within the region.

Indeed, the February 19, 2026 STE Regional Validation was not just an evaluation—it was a celebration of partnership, progress, and a shared vision for excellence in science education.

Guevara High School proudly celebrated its 𝟔𝟎𝒕𝒉 𝑭𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑨𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒂𝒓𝒚 with the theme “𝘙𝘰𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘙𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘝𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯: 60 𝘠𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨.”

✨ The celebration began with a Thanksgiving Mass, a moment of gratitude and reflection for six decades of excellence.
✨ This was followed by the opening of the exhibit, carefully arranged by each learning area, showcasing learners’ outputs that highlighted creativity, innovation, and academic growth.
✨ To make the celebration even more vibrant, Booths per grade level were opened, filling the grounds with color, energy, and delicious treats—delighting both the eyes and the stomach.
