Volleyball team members Johanesh Keith T. Manzano and Cyril Ian V. Hermoso achieved a silver medal.
We also recognize Princess Joy B. Apuya for her strong participation in the 100-meter run.

Congratulations to the EL Bernos participants for their outstanding performance during the District Elimination of the Sirib Abrenio Kiddie and Aral Pan Festival of Talents 2025 held at Toon Elementary School today November 17, 2025.

We proudly commend Mhel T. Manzano, who secured Second Place in the On-the-Spot Poster Making contest, guided by Coach Ma'am Genalyn V. Ola and Trainer Siir Abdul Mannan B. Omar. Our representative in Story Telling, Keonna Amara Natalie P. Valdez, also delivered an admirable performance, earning Fifth Place under the guidance of her coach, Ma'am Marinet P. Valdez. In addition, our participant in the Kasaysayan Quiz Bee, Eliza P. Biñan, a Grade 5 pupil, achieved Eighth Place, showcasing commendable effort and determination with the support of her coach, Ma'am Mary Claire M. Agustin.

El Bernos Elementary School took pride for hosting the activity on the Submission and Finalization of MAPEH and EPP Edukahon Instructional Video Materials on November 14-15, 2025.
The participants were the designated MAPEH and EPP Edukahon Team from the different districts of Abra including the CID Chief, Ma'am Hedwig Belmes, Mr. Jacinto Bose, EPS in MAPEH, Ma'am Fernandina Lagundino, PSDS of LaDaLaga, Mr. Bernardo Beronilla and company from the LR, SDO Abra.
The classrooms of the school and other facilities were used in creating video lessons. The two-day activity was successful and the objectives were realized.

Today, Nov. 15, 2025, Team El Bernos ES actively participated in the Division Science and Technology Fair at Abra High School, Bangued, Abra.

Our young Mathematicians, Jomer Pudol and Julia Rose Reyes, Grades 5 and 6 learners, showcased their skills, determination, and school spirit in the Number Race competition. Their hardwork and commitment truly reflect our school’s dedication to excellence in Mathematics.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our learners and their dedicated, tireless and hands-on coach, Ma'am Ailyn O. Matalino, MT-II, for patiently conducting intensive reviews. Likewise, our gratitude goes to the ever-supportive parents for their unwavering effort and encouragement.

On November 6, 2025, at exactly 9:00 AM, El Bernos Elementary School actively took part in the 4th Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED).

Let us always keep in mind the importance of Duck, Cover, and Hold! Together, we can foster a culture of safety and preparedness.

We're thrilled to receive early Christmas presents from SDO Abra Dental Team, headed by Maricar Taberdo, MD, Dentist II, Bing Reyes, RN, Nurse II and Sir Roland Pascua, Dental Aide VI. Kinder and Grade 1 learners are this year's beneficiaries of 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐒𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬, 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦, an Oral Health Education Program spearheaded by the Department of Education for this school year 2025 - 2026.

A total of fifty (50) toothbrushes and three (3) packs of toothpastes were distributed to learners right after simple discussion on the importance of oral hygiene.

Moreover, dental check-up subsequently implemented for all ARAL learners of the school.

El Bernos Elementary School proudly emerged as the champion among the 14 competing schools in the Number Race event during the Science and Technology Fair – Cluster-District Elimination held today at Nagaparan Elementary School.

Representing the school with remarkable enthusiasm and skill were Jomer M. Pudol and Julia Rose B. Reyes, exceptional learners from Grades V and VI, who showcased their outstanding numerical ability, teamwork, and determination throughout the competition. Their exemplary performance brought honor and pride to the school, reflecting their dedication, perseverance, and hard work.

Guiding them toward success was their committed coach, Ma’am Ailyn O. Matalino, Master Teacher II, whose unwavering support, mentorship, and expertise played a vital role in achieving this remarkable milestone.

This victory stands as a testament to El Bernos Elementary School’s strong commitment to academic excellence and to nurturing learners’ passion for Mathematics and the pursuit of excellence.
