Bantog Elementary Schoolโs Rafaella Eunice Ferrer Elected as Municipal Child Representative
On October 9, 2024, at the PAGCOR Multi-Purpose Building in Barangay Rizal, La Paz, Tarlac, children from various sectoral groups gathered for the Municipal Child Representative Election. The event, which brought together participants aged 10-15 years, included representatives from barangays, schools, and religious groups vying for the prestigious position.
The event agenda featured an Orientation on the Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC), which aimed to educate the participants about their rights and the role of the BCPC in safeguarding childrenโs welfare. Following this, the Election of the Municipal Child Representative took place, where young leaders from different sectors competed for the opportunity to represent the youth of La Paz. The day concluded with the Planning of Child-Led Activities, an interactive session where participants collaborated to organize upcoming child-centered programs for the municipality.
Bantog Elementary School proudly sent two delegatesโRafaella Eunice Ferrer, SELG President, and Maegan Hanna Paule, YES-O Vice President. The students were accompanied by their teacher, Sir Alex B. Bautista, whose guidance ensured their successful participation.
We are thrilled to announce that Rafaella Eunice Ferrer was elected as the Municipal Child Representative, representing the youth of La Paz at the municipal level. This remarkable achievement is a testament to her leadership, commitment, and passion for serving her community.
