PUBLIC ADVISORY

Suspension of Classes and Work in Government Offices in La Carlota City
Effective: Wednesday | July 23, 2025

Pursuant to the directive of the Office of the President through Memorandum Circular No. 90, and upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), work in all government offices and classes at all levels in La Carlota City shall be suspended on Wednesday, July 23, 2025.

However, offices involved in the delivery of essential services, such as those related to health, safety, and emergency response, are expected to remain operational. Other agencies may adopt work-from-home or alternate work arrangements as necessary and previously approved.

As for the private sector, the decision to suspend work shall be made by individual company management based on their assessment of the situation.

This advisory is issued in consideration of public safety and welfare.

Enrolment is also open during June 9–13, 2025 for incoming Grade 7 to Grade 10 students!

Important Reminder:
Incoming Grade 7 students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during enrolment. They will undergo READING and NUMERACY assessments as part of the enrolment process.
