Parenting with Purpose: Strengthening Communication Between Parents and Teenagers

Governor Sergio B. Morales National High School successfully conducted its Parenting Seminar cm Parents’ Meeting today, September 28, 2026, at the GSBMNHS Gymnasium, highlighting the importance of meaningful communication, understanding, and partnership between parents and teenagers.

Our sincere appreciation to our resource speaker, Janet T. Demonteverde, PTRP, MPA, and Kristine A. Cariazo, LPT, for sharing valuable insights with our parents. We also extend our gratitude to the PNP–Koronadal City for their information and support in strengthening school safety measures.

KORONADAL CITY - Magapangatubang sa kaso nga threat ang isa ka 19 anyos nga out of school youth matapos nagpadala sang mensahe sang pagpamahog sa Gov. Sergio Morales National High School sa Barangay Paraiso, Koronadal City, South Cotabato sang Setyembre 21, 2026, pasado alas-4:30 sang hapon.

Suno sa report sang Koronadal City Police Station nga alas-1:00 sang hapon sang amo man nga adlaw, nakabaton ang isa ka manunudlo sang chat message gikan sa account sang suspek nga nagasiling nga "Next target luck Brgy. Paraiso, Koronadal City Pusilon ko sila."

Bangud sini, gilayon nila nga gin-verify ang account tubtob nga nakilala ang suspetsado nga si alias Angel, residente sang Sitio Salcan, sang nasambit nga barangay antes ini boluntaryo nga nagsungka sa mga barangay officials.

Governor Sergio B. Morales National High School proudly celebrates the successful evaluation for the Regional Search for the Emerging Functional School Libraries 2026, held today, September 17, 2026.

GSBMNHS is truly honored and grateful to be one of the schools evaluated by the DepEd Regional Office XII SOCCSKSARGEN under the category of Small-Emerging School Libraries. This milestone reflects our school’s collective commitment to promoting literacy, strengthening learning resources, and creating a functional and learner-centered library for all.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to our School Head Designate, Ma’am Maricel B. Dignadice, and Assistant School Head Designate, Ma’am Sheenie T. Narido, for their unwavering support and guidance. We also extend our sincere appreciation to Dr. Evelyn Frusa, Education Program Supervisor–LRMDS and Sir Arvin Tejada of DepEd Koronadal, for her invaluable assistance and encouragement throughout this journey.

The Governor Sergio B. Morales National High School successfully conducted its School-Based In-Service Training for Teachers on September 10–11, 2026, held at the GSBMNHS Library.

The two-day professional learning activity provided teachers with meaningful opportunities to deepen their knowledge, strengthen instructional practices, and share insights toward more effective teaching and learning.

On Day 1, Sir John Ryan C. Aguirre, MST, led the session on “Strengthening Cross-Curricular Teaching Through Collaborative Planning and Coaching,” highlighting the importance of collaboration and purposeful planning in creating more connected and meaningful learning experiences for learners.

On Day 2, Ma’am Sheenie T. Narido, MAT, shared her expertise through the session “Enhancing Teachers’ Competence Through Effective Assessment and Evaluation Practices,” emphasizing the role of appropriate assessment strategies in monitoring learner progress and improving instruction.

The success of this activity reflects our school’s continuing commitment to professional growth, collaboration, and quality education. Indeed, when teachers learn together, they grow together—and ultimately, our learners benefit the most.

Morales National High School successfully conducted its 3rd Quarter School Program Implementation Review and Plan Adjustment (SPIRPA), bringing together school leaders, personnel, stakeholders, and student representatives in a meaningful effort toward continuous improvement and better outcomes for learners.

The activity was graced by Maricel B. Dignadice, SEPS, School Head Designate; Sheenie T. Narido, Assistant School Head Designate; Chona L. Bernabe, PSDS-District IX; Latreia E. Estabillo and Gertinne Grace O. Pingoy, SDO Personnel; Hon. Sergio P. Morales, Brgy. Paraiso Kagawad; Arnel Dondiego, Brgy. Paraiso Secretary; Kristian S.
