🩺💙 School-Based Deworming Activity | July 31, 2026 💙🩺
Olu-Mlao Elementary School successfully conducted its School-Based Deworming Activity on July 31, 2026, as part of the Department of Education's commitment to promoting the health and well-being of every learner.
Deworming remains one of the recommended public health interventions to help protect children from intestinal worm infections that can affect their nutrition, growth, attendance, and academic performance. We sincerely thank our health personnel, teachers, parents, and stakeholders for their support in making this activity successful.
We understand that many parents may have concerns after reports of an isolated incident related to deworming. The safety and welfare of our learners will always be our highest priority. The school encourages parents to continue supporting the deworming program while informing our school and health personnel of any existing medical conditions, allergies, or concerns their child may have. Qualified healthcare professionals are present during the activity, and learners are properly screened and monitored in accordance with established health protocols.
Let us continue working together to keep our children healthy, strong, and ready to learn. Through informed decisions, open communication, and cooperation, we can provide our learners with the best opportunities to grow and succeed.
Healthy learners today, brighter futures tomorrow! 🌱📚
