One of the highlights besides the presentation of all of the participant's DIY saint outfits on the All Saints Night during Vocation Camp 2026 was a simple melody of ๐‘บ๐’‚๐’๐’—๐’† ๐‘น๐’†๐’ˆ๐’Š๐’๐’‚ ๐’ƒ๐’š ๐‘ด๐’‚๐’“๐’Š๐’‚ ๐‘ญ๐’†. While just silently listening to it, it brings back memories of when my grandmother used to sing these kinds of songs.

It felt nostalgic but it also gives me a reminder that even simple melodies such as these are being offered as prayer, it's our way of connecting our hearts to God and offering our everyday lives as a living prayer. Just as that gentle song honors Our Lady, it reminds us that finding our true vocation isn't always found in grand gestures, but in faithfully listening to God's quiet call and offering our unique gifts back to Him in loving service.

Thereโ€™s something special about sitting around a campfireโ€”singing together, sharing stories, laughing and simply enjoying the people God has placed around us.

Tonight is not just about music. Itโ€™s about friendship, gratitude, and making memories while we continue discovering the different ways God may be calling each of us.

Mechanics and Guidelines:
1. Gather around the campfire and settle into your assigned area.
2. Join the brief prayer ritual and quiet reflection.
3. Enjoy marshmallows and fellowship with your fellow campers.
4. Share your gifts through the Vocation Jamโ€”sing, play an instrument, or simply join in.
5. Give the small tokens you brought to new friends as a simple gesture of gratitude and friendship.
6. Keep the atmosphere joyful, respectful, and inclusive as we celebrate the night together.

Sometimes, we need to step away from the noise and simply walk, talk, and listen.

Take this time to pray with your partner, share the things that matter to you, or simply enjoy a quiet conversation about your life and the things you are still figuring out.

No pressure โ€”just a little time away from the noise to listen, reflect, and make space for what God may be placing in your heart.

Mechanics and Guidelines
1. Find a partner and freely walk around the farm together.
2. Pray the Rosary or use the time for a meaningful conversation about life, faith, dreams, and vocation.
3. Take moments of silence and reflection, allowing yourself to notice Godโ€™s presence.
4. Listen to your partner with respect, openness, and without judgment.
5. Return to the designated area after 30 minutes.

Get ready to see your favorite saints come to life as we step into the runwayโ€”not just wearing an outfit inspired by them, but bringing a little piece of their story, mission, and virtues with us. From creative DIY looks to meaningful props, every detail has a story to tell.

So pick your saint, know their story, own your look, and most importantlyโ€ฆ ENJOY THE NIGHT!

Mechanics and Guidelines:
1. All participants and facilitators are required to represent a saint.
2. Select a saint who inspires you and know their basic story, virtues, and vocation.
3. Use DIY, recycled, borrowed, or available materials. Expensive costumes are not required.
4. Props should represent the saintโ€™s life, mission, virtues, or symbols.
5. Be ready to briefly introduce your saint, explain why you chose them, and share the meaning of your outfit or props.
6. Costumes and props must be modest, appropriate, and respectful of the Catholic vocation camp.
7. Dangerous objects, real weapons, flammable materials, and harmful items are not allowed.
8. Do not use stereotypes, offensive actions, or representations that may disrespect any person or group.
9. Judging will focus on creativity, knowledge, symbolism, presentation, and vocation connectionโ€”not the cost or physical resemblance of the costume.
