KORONADAL CITY, SOUTH COTABATO — Green Valley College President Atty. RJ Sustiguer, EdD PhD conducted a briefing on the Technical-Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Program application for the different community schools of Green Valley College held on August 22, 2026 at the Learning Resource Center, Green Valley College.

The activity aimed to guide partner schools on the application requirements, processes, and important considerations in establishing TVET programs that respond to the needs of learners, communities, and industries.

Through this initiative, Green Valley College continues to strengthen its commitment to providing accessible, quality, and relevant skills education by expanding opportunities for technical and vocational learning.

CITY OF KORONADAL, SOUTH COTABATO — Green Valley College President and Koronadal Local Peoples Council President Atty. RJ Sustiguer, EdD, PhD attended the 3rd Quarter City Development Council (CDC) Meeting held on August 20, 2026, at the Ching Garden Convention Center, City of Koronadal.

The meeting brought together city officials, sectoral representatives, people’s organizations, and other stakeholders to discuss priority programs, development initiatives, and strategies toward a more inclusive and sustainable Koronadal.

Teacher RJ's participation reflects the important role of civil society and community stakeholders in ensuring that the voices of the people are represented in local development planning.

LOOK | GVC PRESIDENT JOINS PUBLIC CONSULTATION ON MINIMUM WAGE DETERMINATION

CITY OF KORONADAL, SOUTH COTABATO — Green Valley College President and Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board XII (RTWPB XII) Management Representative Atty. RJ Sustiguer, EdD, PhD participated in the Public Consultation on Minimum Wage Determination with Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Officers held on August 20, 2026, at Dreamweavers Hotel, City of Koronadal.

The consultation provided an important platform for stakeholders to take part in the wage determination process and strengthen dialogue among government, labor, and management sectors.

Delivering the closing message, Atty. Sustiguer emphasized the importance of active and organized stakeholder participation: “It is important that stakeholders participate in the process. This year, we have more consultations and hearings. Further, make sure that they are organized as a solid group so that their voice will have a resounding influence in our deliberations.”

Through meaningful consultation and social dialogue, the Wage Board continues to promote a fair, transparent, and inclusive wage-setting process responsive to the realities of both workers and employers.

PUBLIC CONSULTATION CARAVAN FOR MINIMUM WAGE BEGINS!

CITY OF KORONADAL, SOUTH COTABATO -- The public consultation caravan for the determination of the minimum wage began last August 18, 2026 at the Cinco Ninas, City of Koronadal.

South Cotabato Chambers President and RTWPB XII Management Representative Atty Rj Sustiguer attended the consultation which provided the platform for the Management groups and Labor groups to air their thoughts and insights with respect to wage determination.

In his message delivered during the forum, Atty Rj shared, "We are grateful that in Region XII, the healthy relationship between Management and Labor is very much alive and this is the reason why we continue to thrive despite the challenges we face."

Around 114 participants attended the consultation coming from the different parts of South Cotabato.
