Green Valley College Foundation, Inc. proudly joins the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Region XII in celebrating its 35th Anniversary, honoring 35 years of dedicated service, discipline, integrity, and commitment to the protection and rehabilitation of persons deprived of liberty. With the theme “BJMP@35: Disiplina at Responsibilidad sa Serbisyong may Kredibilidad,” this milestone celebrates the continuing commitment to meaningful and credible public service.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to Atty. Romeo A. Sustiguer, EdD, PhD, President of Green Valley College Foundation, Inc., for receiving the Plaque of Appreciation in recognition of his steadfast support and partnership in advancing correctional and rehabilitation services.

We also proudly recognize Mr. Joel S. Bayoguing for his valuable presence, support, and contribution to this meaningful partnership and celebration.

EXTENDING EDUCATION BEYOND BOUNDARIES!

On August 7, 2026, the faculty of Green Valley
College Foundation, Inc. took a meaningful step toward making education more inclusive through the conduct of the first class for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) students.

This milestone marks the beginning of an educational journey that goes beyond the walls of a traditional classroom. It reflects the College’s commitment to providing quality, accessible, and inclusive education to learners, regardless of their circumstances.

More than academic lessons, the first class created an opportunity for PDL students to learn, participate, express themselves, build confidence, and discover new possibilities. Through the dedication of our faculty, education becomes not only a means of acquiring knowledge and skills but also a pathway toward personal growth, character formation, hope, and meaningful reintegration into the community.

Green Valley College Foundation, Inc. firmly believes that every learner deserves an opportunity to grow, learn, and work toward a better future. By extending educational opportunities to PDL students, we reaffirm our belief that education knows no boundaries, learning can inspire transformation, and every individual deserves a second chance.

This initiative was facilitated by Rhea A. Batara, LPT, PDL/Remote Coordinator, together with the dedicated Green Valley College faculty members, whose commitment and service continue to bring education where it is needed most.

Today, our school community joyfully celebrates the birthday of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a loving mother and a beautiful example of faith, humility, obedience, and service to God.

May Mama Mary continue to inspire our students, teachers, and staff to walk with faith, serve with compassion, and pursue excellence with a humble heart.

As we celebrate her special day, may we entrust our school community and our families to her loving maternal care. May she guide us always closer to her Son, Jesus Christ, and remind us to live with love, kindness, and hope.

Green Valley College Foundation, Inc., through the School of Alternative and Inclusive Learning (SAIL Office), proudly conducted the 1st PDL and Remote Faculty Meeting for A.Y. 2026–2027 on August 26, 2026 (Wednesday).

The meeting served as a meaningful opportunity to bring together faculty members and the PDL/Remote Coordinator, Rhea B. Batara, LPT, to align strategies, share important updates, and strengthen our collective commitment to delivering quality, accessible, and inclusive education for our PDL and remote learners.

The success and direction of this initiative are made possible under the leadership of Jayson D. Malala, LPT, MAEd, whose guidance and commitment continue to inspire the team toward meaningful and inclusive educational service. And to the support of AcadFlex Coordinator Jessa Mae R. Bejidor, LPT, whose assistance and collaboration contribute to strengthening the implementation of programs and support services for our learners.

With dedication, compassion, and collaboration, we remain committed to empowering learners and transforming lives through inclusive education.

The School of Alternative and Inclusive Learning (SAIL) Office successfully conducted a Student Consultation for 1st to 4th year students. This meaningful initiative provided an avenue for learners to raise their concerns, challenges, and suggestions regarding their academic experiences in the Academic Flexibility Program.

Through the official page and group chats, a total of 10 agenda items were gathered and discussed, reflecting the voices and needs of our students. These consultations strengthen collaboration between students and the institution in promoting an inclusive, responsive, and learner-centered environment.

The consultation was facilitated by Academic Flexibility Coordinator Jessa Mae R. Bejidor, LPT, under the leadership of SAIL Director Jayson D. Malala, LPT, MAED, with the support of PDL/Remote Rhea B. Batara, LPT.

Thank you to all AcadFlex students for your active participation. Your voice matters, and together, we continue to build a stronger and more supportive learning community.
