On August 7, 8, and 14, 2026, teachers from different schools gathered for the Strengthening Differentiated Reading Instruction for Low and High Emerging Learners, conducted as part of the BBI – Bayang Bumabasa Initiative.
The three-day learning engagement provided teachers with meaningful opportunities to deepen their knowledge and enhance their skills in delivering differentiated reading instruction responsive to the varied needs and reading abilities of learners.

With the guidance of our competent and inspiring speakers, participants explored practical strategies and approaches that can help address the needs of both low and high emerging readers, making reading instruction more responsive, purposeful, and inclusive.

This initiative is a testament to the commitment of our teachers to continuously learn and improve their practice—because every child deserves a teacher who knows how to meet them where they are and guide them toward where they need to be. 🌱📚

Malugod na binuksan ng Namnama Elementary School ang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2026 na may temang:

“Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon."

Sa pamamagitan ng temang ito, binibigyang-diin ang kahalagahan ng Wikang Filipino bilang daluyan ng kaalaman at pagkakakilanlan, kasabay ng responsableng paggamit ng Artificial Intelligence (AI) bilang makabagong kasangkapan sa pananaliksik, pagkatuto, at paglinang ng impormasyon.

In celebration of National CPR Day, Namnama Elementary School successfully conducted the First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) Training in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross – South Cotabato Chapter.

The activity brought together our Grade 5 and Grade 6 learners alongside barangay participants, equipping them with valuable knowledge and practical life-saving skills. Through hands-on demonstrations and guided instruction, participants learned the importance of staying calm, responding quickly, and providing immediate assistance during emergencies.

Indeed, preparedness saves lives. Every heartbeat matters, and every trained individual can make a difference.

Namnama Elementary School successfully conducted its Earthquake Drill Evaluation, reaffirming the school's commitment to ensuring the safety and preparedness of every learner, teacher, and stakeholder in times of disaster.

The evaluation was facilitated by the Philippine Red Cross – South Cotabato Chapter, Koronadal City Police Station (PNP), and the Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Namnama, whose expertise and guidance helped assess the school's emergency preparedness and response.

This activity measured how prepared our school community is in responding to earthquake emergencies and highlighted the importance of coordination, discipline, and teamwork in protecting lives.

Together, we continue to strengthen our culture of disaster preparedness—because every second counts when safety is at stake. 💚

As part of the continuing implementation of the ARAL Program, today's session focused on strengthening learners' numeracy skills through engaging and interactive learning activities. The lessons provided opportunities for learners to develop their understanding of numbers, basic mathematical concepts, and problem-solving skills.
