SOX ZINE FEST 2025!

Goldenstate College of Koronadal City has been invited and given privilege to witness the celebration of SOX ZINE FEST 2025 held at Notre Dame of Marbel University.

This event was spearheaded by Ms. Jessa Mae M. Magbanua, a former CAED student from Bachelor of Arts in English Batch 2024-2025, now the Acting Chairperson of Timog Literary Circle and a committee member of South Cotabato Provincial Youth Development Office.

The event was participated by Bachelor of Arts in English students and the Program’s Journalism student body, The Sentinel, and some volunteer attendees from the Social Work Department. Also present in the event were various students from different Universities and Colleges along the province.

The celebration was filled with interactive activities where students got exposed to Zine Making. There were also question and answer part where some of our students asked questions and shared their ideas.

Overall, the event strengthened and widened their learning on journalism that made them embraced the beauty and art behind it.

This is a testament that Goldenians are indeed multifaceted learners, eager and excited to learn more.

One hectic day at Goldenstate College of Koronadal City when two fourth year BTVTED students, Charmaine Gabio and Sharmen Hilasgue, went to the faculty room and handed over a box that surprises everyone - a projector.

The College of Arts and Education would like to express its heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to 𝓕𝓻𝓮𝓮𝓭𝓸𝓶 𝓛𝓲𝓯𝓮 for this generous donation. And, this will not be possible if not for the initiative of our CAED Supreme Student Council Governor 𝓒𝓱𝓪𝓻𝓶𝓪𝓲𝓷𝓮 𝓖𝓪𝓫𝓲𝓸.

Your gesture speaks volumes of your dedication to uplifting our department and supporting the learning needs of both students and faculty. This projector will truly make a difference, helping us deliver more interactive lessons, creative presentations, and meaningful discussions inside and outside the classroom. 🎬📖

This directive is made to ensure the safety and well-being of all students, faculty, and staff.

Similarly, this advisory also applies to Goldenstate College campuses in GenSan, Maasim, Kiamba, and Malungon. For GLC Malakas and Lagao campuses, class sessions will continue via Zoom and Quipper platforms during the period of suspension.
