𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔— Goldenstate College participated in the 𝐙𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐦 𝐎𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 (𝐂𝐌𝐎) 𝐍𝐨. 𝟏𝟖, 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, focusing on the 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 (𝐒𝐀𝐒).

The activity was attended by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆. 𝐀𝐥𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐚, 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐊𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐥, together with the 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐁𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐟𝐞, 𝐌𝐀𝐁𝐀, 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 and 𝐃𝐫. 𝐑𝐚𝐳𝐞𝐥 𝐋𝐚𝐩𝐞, 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐈𝐧-𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐦.

The orientation provided updates and guidance on strengthening 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭-𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬. Goldenstate College’s participation highlights its commitment to aligning its programs and services with current CHED policies and continuously improving support for its students.

As students spend a significant amount of their time inside the school premise, it is really important that they become informed, aware and alert of the things that they need to do during disaster and calamities strike, to save themselves and others when emergencies happen.

The 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 was successfully conducted yesterday, 𝘼𝙪𝙜𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝟭𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at the 𝙂𝙤𝙡𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙆𝙤𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙙𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮 – 𝘼𝙗𝙖𝙙 𝙎𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙤𝙨 𝘽𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜, with the active participation of the Faculty and Staff Members, as well as the students from the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM), Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT), Bachelor of Science in Office Administration (BSOAD), Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA), and Bachelor of Science in Accounting Information Systems (BSAIS) programs.

Through meaningful discussions, demonstrations, and hands-on simulation activities, students gained valuable knowledge and practical experience on how to respond appropriately during emergencies and disasters. The activity emphasized the importance of preparedness, awareness, teamwork, presence of mind, and quick but informed action in times of crisis.

This event was spearheaded by the Office of the Student Affairs and was conducted by the 𝘽𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙪 𝙤𝙛 𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙓𝙄𝙄 - 𝙆𝙤𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙙𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮. The successful conduct of this activity reflects Goldenstate College of Koronadal City’s commitment to promoting a safe, prepared, and resilient school community.
