Kaisa ng sambayanan ang Kagawaran ng Edukasyon sa paggunita ng Araw ng Kagitingan ngayong Abril 9.

Sa ilalim ng temang "Kagitingan ng mga Beterano, Inspirasyon ng nagkakaisang Pilipino," nilalayon ng selebrasyon na maipakita ang kabayanihan at pamanang aral ng ating mga bayani at mga beterano ng digmaan upang magsilbing inspirasyon sa bawat mamamayang Pilipino.

TINGNAN: Pormal nang nagsimula ngayong araw, Pebrero 21, ang limited face-to-face classes sa 16 na mga paaralan sa Occidental Mindoro.

Nasa 12 elementarya at apat na sekondaryang paaralan ang kabilang sa pinahintulutan nang magsimula ng F2F classes.

Upang matiyak ang maayos na pagbubukas ng klase sa mga paaralan, bumuo ang Schools Division of Occidental Mindoro sa pamumuno ni OIC- SDS Lynn G. Mendoza, ng mga grupo (Composite Team) ng SDO officials and personnel na siyang personal na pupunta sa bawat paaralan upang saksihan ang unang linggo ng pilot implementation ng F2F classes sa lalawigan.

Inaasahan na madaragdagan pa sa mga susunod na araw ang mga mag-aaral na makikibahagi, sakaling maging matagumpay ang unang implementasyon.

Samantala, inihahanda na rin ang ibang paaralan para sa posibleng pagpapalawig ng bilang ng mga eskwelahan na magpapatupad ng limited F2F classes sa Occidental Mindoro.
