THANK YOU MA'AM LORNA T. PADUA!
For more than five years, a couple of months, and sixteen days, Ma’am Lorna T. Padua, Public Schools District Supervisor of Banga South District, has been a leader, mentor, adviser, and, in many moments, the source of laughter and lightness in the midst of demanding work.
Her leadership has been defined by commitment, wisdom, firmness, and genuine concern for the teachers, school heads, and learners she has served. She has guided the district through countless programs, challenges, meetings, and activities, always reminding everyone to do their best and keep moving forward.
But beyond policies, plans, reports, and deadlines, there are the small and unforgettable moments that made the journey meaningful.
Among the things that will surely be remembered are her spontaneous “NO!” and the ever-famous “HA?” during conversations. Sometimes, those two little words were enough to make everyone pause, laugh, or wonder what was coming next. A simple “NO” could end an argument before it even started, while a perfectly timed “HA?” could turn an ordinary conversation into a funny and memorable moment.
Those little expressions became part of the personality of the district—simple, spontaneous, and genuinely Ma’am Lorna.
For five years, a couple of months, and sixteen days, she has shared not only her leadership but also her stories, laughter, wisdom, reminders, and unforgettable moments with the people around her. Behind the serious face of a Public Schools District Supervisor was someone who knew when to be firm, when to listen, and when to make everyone laugh.
Her leadership has helped shape educators and school leaders, but her presence has also created memories that will remain long after meetings are over and reports are submitted.
As this chapter comes to a close, Banga South District expresses its heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Ma’am Lorna T. Padua for her years of dedicated service.
She may no longer be around every day to say “NO!” or suddenly ask “HA?”, but those familiar words will surely echo in the memories of those who had the privilege of working with her.
What a journey it has been!
Thank you, Ma’am Lorna, for the leadership, the lessons, the challenges, the encouragement, and most especially, the laughter.
Your legacy will live on not only through the programs and accomplishments of Banga South District, but also through the people you inspired, the leaders you mentored, and the memories you created.
Maraming Salamat Po, Ma’am Lorna!
And whenever someone says “NO” or suddenly asks “HA?”, there will always be a little smile—and a reminder of a remarkable district supervisor who made the journey more meaningful, memorable, and fun.
WE LOVE YOU!
