A Day Written in Gratitude: Celebrating the Hearts That Teach, Inspire, and Make a Difference

Today, CHES celebrated its teachers with a day filled with appreciation, laughter, and joy.

The celebration began with a heartfelt tribute after the flag ceremony, led by the SELG and HRPTA Officers. A surprise lunch prepared by the school head followed, served in a beautifully arranged dining setup that made the teachers feel truly special.

The afternoon turned lively with a fun-filled bowling tournament, followed by an early dinner that brought everyone together once more.

A heartfelt thank you to Sir Rey T. Dela Rosa, SPTA President Jacel Fano, Vice President Cyndi Gonzaga, SELG President Haniya Natalie Abdul, and everyone who made this celebration a memorable one.

It was a simple yet memorable day—a well-deserved celebration for the hearts that teach, inspire, and make a difference every day.

CHES Faculty Comes Together in Virtual Meeting

CHES faculty gathered virtually at 9:00 a.m. today for a productive meeting focused on important school matters and preparations.

With 100% faculty attendance, teachers actively participated in discussions on school safety, the planned demolition of the old school building, card distribution, least learned competencies, Gulayan sa Paaralan, cleanliness, and other concerns affecting school operations and learner welfare.

The meeting provided an opportunity for the faculty to share updates, clarify concerns, and strengthen coordination toward a safer, cleaner, and more responsive school environment.

Together, the CHES faculty continues to work with commitment and teamwork for the benefit of every learner.

CHES, ST. ALEXIUS COLLEGE BRING HEALTH ADVOCACY TO GRADE 6 LEARNERS

CARPENTER HILL, KORONADAL CITY — September 18, 2026 — Grade 6 learners of Carpenter Hill Elementary School (CHES) gained practical health knowledge as the St. Alexius College – School Health Nursing Program conducted its community extension activity through the Community and Civic Movement Advocacy through Community Health Nursing Program at the school. The initiative focused on strengthening learners’ awareness of personal hygiene, wellness, disease prevention, and responsible health practices.

Earl C. Cajandig, RN, RM, MAN, Community Preceptor, led and supervised the participating nursing students as they engaged the learners through interactive discussions, demonstrations, and health-related activities. The sessions also promoted values of responsibility, cooperation, empathy, discipline, self-care, and concern for the health and welfare of others.

CHES thanked the St. Alexius College nursing team for its service and expertise and recognized School Principal Sir Rey T. Dela Rosa for supporting the initiative. Aileen Joie S. Valdez, who initiated and facilitated the partnership, was likewise recognized for helping strengthen the school-community collaboration aimed at developing health-conscious and responsible young citizens.

CHES Young Journalists Make Their Mark at 2026 DSPC

Pens, ideas, and creativity came alive as 12 young campus journalists from Carpenter Hill Elementary School (CHES) joined the two-day 2026 Division Schools Press Conference at Osita Elementary School.

The CHES delegation was composed of Mary Xyra S. Natividad, Ukraine A. Abellana, Max Dimson I. Dimasuay, Haniya Natalie G. Abdul, Zed Liam P. Garcia, Anya Myiesha Aafreen A. Abdul, Maria Ysabel T. Petogo, Aven Yesha M. Bordo, Francis Jhondel D. Diaz, Ivy Jane A. Hidalgo, Rogelyn A. Barcenilla and Haider Meshaal G. Abdul.

Adding pride to the delegation, Ivy Jane Hidalgo earned 2nd Place in Filipino Column Writing, while Zed Liam Garcia secured 4th Place in English Column Writing.

More than the awards, the two-day competition gave the young journalists valuable experience, confidence, and a stronger appreciation for campus journalism. CHES is grateful to our Brgy. Chairman Argie Pastera and SK Chairman Ryan Duarte for their support and School Principal Sir Rey T. Dela Rosa for his continued encouragement of the school’s young journalists.

CARPENTER HILL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL — Young minds raced, calculated, and collaborated as learners took part in the Number Race and Team Quiz, bringing excitement and friendly competition to the 2026 Math and Science Month Culmination Program.

The activities challenged learners to think fast, solve accurately, and work as a team—proving that math and science are not just subjects, but skills that come alive through challenge and discovery.
