๐โจ DAY 2: ASSESS. INTEGRATE. INSPIRE! โจ๐
And just like thatโฆ Day 2 marks the meaningful close of our Term 1 In-Service Training! ๐๐
After two days filled with learning, sharing, collaboration, and professional growth, the teachers of Mangga Elementary School wrapped up our Term 1 INSET with an enriching and insightful session on Integrative Assessment through Performance Tasks. ๐๐โจ
๐ค Our heartfelt gratitude goes to our dear Resource Person, Sir Marjun Balquin, Special Science Teacher IV of Region XII Phil. Science High School, for generously sharing his expertise, practical strategies, and valuable insights with our Batang Mangga-Aral Mentors. ๐โจ
The session deepened our understanding of how performance tasks can be thoughtfully designed to integrate competencies across learning areas while making assessment more authentic, relevant, and meaningful for our learners. ๐ฑ๐ก
Through meaningful discussions and practical strategies, our teachers were reminded that assessment is more than simply measuring what learners know. It is also about providing opportunities for them to apply their learning, demonstrate their skills, and make meaningful connections across different learning areas. ๐๐
๐ฌ One powerful takeaway from the session:
โMeaningful assessment connects competencies, skills, and real-life learning experiences.โ
A sincere THANK YOU, SIR MARJUN! ๐ Your time, knowledge, and passion have truly enriched our professional learning journey. We deeply appreciate the valuable lessons and inspiration you shared with the Batang Mangga-Aral Mentors! ๐๐
๐ TWO DAYS. MEANINGFUL LEARNINGS. ONE STRONGER TEAM!
As we close our Term 1 INSET, we carry with us new knowledge, fresh perspectives, and renewed inspiration to teach better, assess meaningfully, innovate purposefully, and grow togetherโall for the learners we proudly serve. โค๏ธ๐ฉโ๐ซ๐
This is not the end of our learning journey. Term 1 may be wrapped up, but there is still more learning, sharing, and growing ahead in Term 2 and Term 3! ๐ฑโจ
๐ฅ TERM 1: LEARNINGS GAINED. INSIGHTS SHARED. TEACHERS EMPOWERED.
PADAYON, MANGGA ES TEACHERS! ๐๐โจ
Until our next learning journey! ๐
