The College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM) of Green Valley College Foundation, Inc. proudly participated in the Regional Research Congress held at the University of Mindanao – Matina, Davao City on August 18, 2026.

This meaningful academic engagement highlights CTHM’s commitment to advancing research, innovation, and quality education in Tourism and Hospitality Management.

The delegation was headed by CTHM instructors Ms. Kia Mae Villanueva, CTP and Ms. Aisagin Formoso, MBA, whose guidance and dedication continue to inspire our students and faculty toward research excellence.

This participation supports Sustainable Development Goal 4 – Quality Education and SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals, strengthening collaboration and promoting continuous learning through research.

STAY & LEARN PROGRAM 2026

Learning extends beyond the four walls of the classroom! The College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM) of Green Valley College Foundation, Inc. successfully conducted the Stay & Learn Program on August 14–15, 2026, at Greenleaf Hotel, General Santos City.

The program provided students with an opportunity to gain practical knowledge, industry exposure, and meaningful learning experiences that complement their academic education.

Through experiential learning and professional engagement, students were encouraged to develop the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed to become future-ready Tourism and Hospitality professionals.

Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
SDG 4 – Quality Education
The program supports Quality Education by providing students with experiential and industry-based learning opportunities. It allows them to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world hospitality setting, strengthening their skills and preparing them for future careers.

SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals
The program promotes Partnerships for the Goals by strengthening collaboration between the academic institution and the hospitality industry. Through partnerships with industry establishments, students gain valuable exposure while institutions and industry partners work together to enhance tourism and hospitality education.

Through Stay & Learn, CTHM continues to bridge education and industry, creating meaningful opportunities for students to learn, experience, connect, and grow.

𝐖𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐍 𝐂𝐔𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐄 | 𝐇𝐑𝐌 𝟒𝟏𝟑

A flavorful learning experience in Western Cuisine as our students put their culinary skills, teamwork, creativity, and passion into practice! From preparation to presentation, every dish reflects the knowledge and skills developed inside the kitchen.

This hands-on class was facilitated by Ms. Mildred L. Dela Cerna, MMITH, providing our students with meaningful exposure to Western culinary techniques and professional kitchen practices.

Aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4): Quality Education, this activity promotes inclusive and quality learning through practical, skills-based education that prepares students for future careers in the hospitality industry.
