From a young Indigenous scholar in Lake Sebu to a National Living Treasure of the Philippines, Rosie Godwino Sula (Bo'i Lmingon) has dedicated her life to preserving the rich cultural heritage of the T'boli people.

An alumna of the NDMU College of Education, Class of 1987, Bo'i Rosie is the youngest recipient of the Gawad sa Manlilikha ng Bayan (GAMABA), the nation's highest honor for traditional artists, conferred through Presidential Proclamation No. 247, s. 2023.

Through tears, gratitude, and a heartfelt prayer chant for NDMU's 80th Anniversary, she reflected on the opportunities, formation, and faith that shaped her journey from scholar to cultural master.

Thank you, Bo'i Rosie, for carrying the Marist mission through your life, service, and unwavering commitment to preserving Indigenous culture for future generations.
