These remarkable achievements have brought great honor not only to Koronadal City but to the entire Filipino nation:

🏆 GRAND PRIZE
🏆 Winner A1: Young Children Category, Gold Medal
🏆 Winner B4: Folksong Category, Gold Medal
🏆 Outstanding Conducting

With immense pride and heartfelt joy, Mary Land School, Inc. (MLSI) extends its warmest congratulations to the Marbel Children's Chorus (MCC)—the sole representative of the Philippines at the 3rd Thailand International Choral Festival!

Competing against outstanding choirs from different countries, the Marbel Children's Chorus proved that talent, discipline, and passion know no age. As young children, you stood on the international stage and excelled against older and more experienced performers, bringing home victories that fill every Koronadaleño's heart with pride.

We are especially proud to congratulate Isabelle Nadine "Jolly" P. Aguilar, our Grade 5 student, for being part of this extraordinary achievement. Your dedication, and love for music have allowed your talent to shine before the world. Your Mary Land School family celebrates this well-deserved success and is incredibly proud of you.

To Mr. Jeward Cardenas, parents, and every member of the Marbel Children's Chorus, thank you for proving that excellence, hard work, and unity can bring our country to the world stage.

Marbel Children's Chorus, you are not only the pride of Koronadal—you are the pride of the Philippines.

Congratulations once again, and may you continue to inspire generations of young Filipinos through the gift of music!

The new school year at Mary Land School, Inc. (MLSI) opened with more than just welcome greetings—it opened with readiness. This year’s student orientation was designed not only to prepare learners academically but also to equip them for the unexpected.

Given the recent 7.8‑magnitude earthquake that struck Mindanao last June 8, 2026, safety has become an even sharper priority. That’s why, as part of MLSI’s commitment to student protection, the orientation program included an earthquake drill orientation and simulation. While this drill is usually done every quarter, MLSI made sure students were prepared right at the start of the school year.

Students in Grades 1 to 5 gathered at the covered area, where the school principal led the presentation. For Grades 6 to 10, their advisers took the lead inside their respective classrooms. During the orientation, students learned key facts about earthquakes, essential safety measures, and the specific DOs and DON’Ts during and after a tremor. They also learned where to go once evacuation starts—and how to keep themselves and others safe.

After the discussion, a simulation was conducted so students could immediately apply what they learned. It was a chance to see if they could act the right way during and after an earthquake. And they did well.

We are hoping and praying for a safe learning experience this School Year without fear and worries for students and teachers.

Keep safe Everyone!

MLSI Starts Strong with Student Orientation

The new school year at Mary Land School, Inc. (MLSI) kicked off with more than just hellos—it started with purpose. The student orientation wasn't only about welcoming everyone back; it was about making sure they were ready for a year of real learning and growth.

Right after the first Monday flag ceremony, students from Grade 1 to 5 headed to the covered area for an earthquake drill orientation and simulation. Meanwhile, Grades 6 to 10 stayed in their classrooms and did the same. But that was just the start. Students also took part in the school's anti-bullying campaign, plus a mental health session that focused on debriefing, destressing, and psychosocial first aid.

Come afternoon, they got into the nitty-gritty: school rules, the three-term calendar, and the revised grading system. They also finally met their subject teachers and got a feel for who’d be guiding them this year.

In many ways, this orientation served as the "NORTH", a true starting point and guide for every student heading into the school year.

From the whole MLSI family, administrators, faculty, and staff, welcome, students of Mary Land School, Inc. Let’s make this year both fruitful and unforgettable.
