The Caraga Institute of Technology – Supreme Student Council proudly participated in the CARAGA Student Leaders Human Rights Innovation Lab, organized by the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) on September 7, 8 and 9, 2026, held at Hotel Oazis, Butuan City.

The three-day learning experience brought together student leaders from across Caraga to deepen our understanding of human rights, leadership, advocacy, and social responsibility. More than gaining knowledge, the activity reminded us of our important role as student leaders in listening to the concerns of our fellow students and turning these concerns into meaningful actions.

As representatives of the CIT student body, we carry with us the lessons, ideas, and inspiration gained from this experience committed to building a school community where every student is heard, respected, and given equal opportunities.

Human rights begin with awareness, strengthened by action, and sustained through responsible leadership.
