BRIGHT SMILES, HEALTHY LEARNERS: DENTAL CHECKUP REACHES KEY STAGE 1

Singao Integrated School, Today, Dr. Concepcion P. Alada, Dentist from the Department of Education Kidapawan City Division, conducted a room-to-room dental checkup and oral health education exclusively for our Key Stage 1 learners from Kindergarten to Grade 3.

Rather than pulling students out of class, Dr. Alada moved from room to room, checking each child’s teeth without disrupting lessons. She also taught the young learners the proper ways to care for their teeth, how to brush correctly, when to brush, and why keeping teeth strong helps them grow, learn, and wear a healthy, confident smile every day.

This thoughtful approach ensured zero interruption to classes, while bringing essential health services and education directly to our youngest learners. A healthy smile is part of a healthy body and a healthy body helps every child shine brighter in school.

SAFETY FIRST: RANDOM BAG INSPECTION AT SINGAO IS

A surprise random bag inspection was conducted today at Singao Integrated School, led by school administration together with Barangay Kagawad Jesus E. Calotes, PNP personnel - Pat. Marvin Vasquez Agbayani, Brgy Singao BPAT members and PTA officers.

To ensure a safe, secure, and orderly learning environment guided by DepEd standards. This is a preventive measure, carried out with fairness and respect. No prohibited items were found.

Safety is everyone’s shared responsibility. Regular unannounced checks keep our campus protected, reinforce discipline, and reassure every learner that their well-being is our top priority.

Singao Integrated School Learners Appointed as Junior Barangay Singao Officials for Linggo ng Kabataan 2026

SINGAO, Kidapawan City | August 3, 2026 – Leadership knows no age as several learners of Singao Integrated School were officially appointed as Junior Barangay Singao Officials in celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026

The school proudly congratulates its young leaders who were given the opportunity to represent the youth and experience public service through the Junior Barangay Officials Apprenticeship Program, an initiative that nurtures responsible, empowered, and service-oriented future leaders.

Leading the roster is Gina May Datuin (Grade 11) as Junior Punong Barangay, together with Angel Autida (Grade 9), Princess Bauro (Grade 11), Lovely Vee Taguibalos (Grade 11), and Christine Joy Mira (Grade 11) as Junior Barangay Kagawads.

From August 3–4, 2026, the newly appointed officials will undergo a two-day apprenticeship alongside their respective barangay officials, gaining firsthand experience in leadership, governance, and community service.

Singao IS SHS Celebrates Nutrition Month 2026 with Creativity and Teamwork

The Senior High School Department of Singao Integrated School successfully celebrated the 2026 Nutrition Month Culmination Program with the theme "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan Pangalagaan" on July 31, 2026. The activity was held at 3:00 PM in their activity period, ensuring that regular class hours remained uninterrupted while allowing students to actively participate in the celebration.

The culmination showcased the creativity, cooperation, and talents of the learners through various competitions, including Slogan Making, Poster Making, and Food Display. Students demonstrated not only their artistic skills but also their understanding of the importance of proper nutrition and environmental stewardship. The colorful entries reflected the students' commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles while caring for nature.

The program also fostered teamwork, sportsmanship, and camaraderie among learners, making the celebration both educational and enjoyable. Winners were recognized for their outstanding performances, while all participants were commended for their enthusiasm and active involvement.

Learners from Kindergarten to Grade 6 of Singao Integrated School actively participated in the MILO Event, which featured engaging games and sports activities that promoted physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy living. The activity was successfully conducted without disrupting regular class schedules, as it was held at 3:00 PM. Each learner also received a cup of MILO, making the experience both enjoyable and meaningful.

🇵🇭 Citizenship in Action: CTP Every Friday at Singao Integrated School

Singao Integrated School has formally integrated the Citizenship Training Program (CTP) for all Grade 10 learners, conducted every Friday during their MAPEH period. CTP is vital because it nurtures genuine patriotism, discipline, good character, and deep love for country, teaching respect for the Philippine flag, national symbols, laws, rights, and the duties of every Filipino citizen. Through meaningful orientations, proper drills, and ceremonial activities held during these sessions, learners turn these values into real habits, building not just knowledge but the integrity and leadership needed to be active, responsible members of society. Bayanihan in Action, Community Acts Fast to Keep Singao Integrated School Safe

Yesterday, heavy rains brought flooding that affected several purok within Barangay Singao including Singao Integrated School. Water rose and pooled right at the center of our grounds when the creek overflowed. Thankfully, no damage to school facilities or property was reported only standing water caused by the overflow.

This morning our community came together immediately: led by PTA Chairman Abandino Narin Jimena Jr., together with Barangay Kagawad Randy Baguion and BPAT members, everyone worked hand‑in‑hand to clean and clear the creek. This effort allowed water to flow freely and drain away quickly. They also installed and replaced caution signs around the creek area outside the school to keep everyone safe.

This truly shows: it takes a whole community to care for our learners and our school. Through the spirit of Bayanihan and quick cooperation, we turned a challenge into proof that when we help one another, we keep Singao Integrated School safe, dry, and ready for everyone. 🙏❤️

One Teacher, One Printer, Equipping Our Educators Step by Step

Singao Integrated School is moving toward a clear, meaningful goal: one printer for every teacher.

To make this vision a reality, provisions have been approved under our School Annual Operating Budget (SAOB). We will distribute two printers every quarter, steadily building up our resources until every teacher is provided with their own unit.

Printers are more than just equipment they are essential tools for quality education. Teachers rely on them daily to prepare well‑crafted lesson plans, learning activities, and instructional materials that help make every lesson clear, engaging, and effective for our learners.

We are committed to giving our teachers the support they deserve, one step, one quarter, and one printer at a time so they can focus fully on what matters most: teaching with heart and excellence.

Small Space, Big Dreams; Our Multi‑Purpose Facility Nurtures Young Readers

Singao Integrated School has transformed our Principal’s Office into a truly functional multi‑purpose space serving not only as an administrative workplace, but also as our ICT Room where our Khan Academy integration happens every Friday, and even making room for a humble mini‑library right within the office.

Though our book collection is modest and space is limited, it has quickly become a favorite spot for our learners. Every lunchtime, our elementary students faithfully visit this little corner simply because they love to read. It fills us with so much admiration and pride to see them choose books during their break, sitting quietly and enjoying stories within this shared space.

It proves that we do not need grand halls or huge buildings to nurture a love for learning. Even within these limits, we are successfully growing young minds showing that where there is love for reading, every corner becomes a library, and every book opens a whole new world.
