DepEd XII - Mua-an Integrated School

𝗠𝗜𝗦 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗜𝗣 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

𝖠𝗎𝗀𝗎𝗌𝗍 7 -- Mua-an Integrated School (MIS) joined the celebration of Barangay Indigenous Peoples (IP) Day, highlighting the rich culture, traditions, and contributions of the Indigenous Peoples community.

The activity brought together IP leaders, City IPMR Datu 𝖣𝖺𝗆𝖺𝗌𝗈 𝖡𝖺𝗒𝖺𝗐𝖺𝗇, MAFI Director, Representatives from EDC, City Councilors 𝖬𝗂𝗄𝖾 𝖠𝖻𝗅𝖺𝗇𝗀, 𝖩𝗎𝖽𝗀𝖾 𝖡𝗈𝖻𝗈𝗒 𝖯𝖺𝗅𝗆𝗈𝗇𝖾𝗌, Tribal Chief 𝖣𝖺𝗍𝗎 𝖤𝖽𝗎𝖺𝗋𝖽𝗈 𝖯𝗎𝗇𝗍𝖺𝗌, 𝖨𝖯𝖬𝖱 𝖩𝗈𝗌𝖾𝗅𝗂𝗍𝗈 𝖸𝖺𝗇𝗈, 𝖯𝗎𝗇𝗈𝗇𝗀𝖻𝖺𝗋𝖺𝗇𝗀𝖺𝗒 Debbie C. Perez-tan, Barangay Councils, community members, and local leaders in promoting unity, respect, and appreciation for Indigenous culture. MIS’s participation showed its continued support for preserving cultural heritage and strengthening the partnership between the school and the community.

Through activities like this, MIS continues to promote cultural awareness, inclusivity, and respect for the diverse traditions of the community, and shared responsibility for IP learners within the community.

𝐁𝐋𝐆𝐔 𝐌𝐮𝐚-𝐚𝐧 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐬 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐌𝐮𝐚-𝐚𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥

𝖠𝗎𝗀𝗎𝗌𝗍 8 -- The Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Mua-an officially turned over the Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) to Mua-an Integrated School (MIS) as part of its continuing support for proper waste management and environmental protection.

The highlights the strong partnership between the barangay headed by Punongbarangay Debbie C. Perez-tan and the school led by Sir 𝖠𝗅𝖾𝗃𝖺𝗇𝖽𝗋𝗈 𝖠. 𝖡𝗋𝗂𝗇𝗀𝖺𝗌 𝖩𝗋. Beyond Borders, together with the teachers who were present during the ceremony in line with the celebration of 78th Mua-an founding anniversary.

The facility will help the school strengthen its waste segregation, recycling, and proper disposal practices, promoting a cleaner, greener, and healthier school environment.

Mua-an IS expresses its gratitude to the BLGU Mua-an for this valuable support and commitment to building a sustainable and environmentally responsible school.

July 11 -- Mua-an Integrated School successfully conducted its General Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) Assembly, bringing together parents, guardians, teachers, and school officials in support of quality education and learner development.

The assembly served as an avenue to discuss important school programs, policies, and upcoming activities for the school year. Mr. 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗼 𝗔. 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘀 𝗝𝗿., Principal III also shared updates on academic initiatives, DepEd updates, learner welfare, and the roles of parents in strengthening the partnership between home and school. Punongbaranggay 𝗗𝗲𝗯𝗯𝗶𝗲 𝗖. 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘇-𝗧𝗮𝗻, also gave her committment of support to the schools mission-vision in delivery good services to the learners, and the community as a whole.

The highlight of the event was the formal installation of the newly elected PTA officers led by Mr. 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼, who pledged to work hand in hand with the school in advancing programs and projects that will benefit all learners. Likewise, the newly elected officers of the different student organizations such as SELG, SSLG, nad the YES-O were officially installed, signifying their commitment to responsible, servant, and learner-centered leadership.

The meeting concluded with the active participation and commitment of parents and stakeholders to work hand in hand with the school in creating a safe, supportive, and learner-centered environment. The successful assembly highlighted the strong spirit of cooperation and shared responsibility within the Mua-an Integrated School community.
