📢 Strength Amid Challenges: Opening of Classes SY 2026–2027

The opening of classes for School Year 2026–2027 brought an unexpected challenge as our community experienced an earthquake today. Despite the situation, our school remained steadfast, prioritizing the safety and well-being of our learners, teachers, and personnel.

We are deeply grateful for the visit of Miguel P. Fillalan Jr., our Schools Division Superintendent, who personally came to our school to conduct a debriefing and provide guidance and further instructions to ensure the continued safety and preparedness of our school community.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to Danilo Sumain for his leadership and immediate response in coordinating efforts and supporting both learners and school personnel during this situation.

Today’s events reminded us that education goes beyond classrooms. It is also about resilience, unity, preparedness, and caring for one another during challenging times. As we begin another school year, we remain committed to providing a safe and nurturing learning environment for all.

Together, we move forward stronger, wiser, and more prepared.

As a token of appreciation, arroz caldo and pancit were served to all volunteers, parents, stakeholders, and community members who rendered their service during Brigada Eskwela 2026. This simple gesture was made possible through the leadership of SPTA President Mr. James R. Caballero and OBE Focal Person Ma'am Gloria S. Pantonial. Thank you to everyone for your hard work, dedication, and spirit of bayanihan in preparing our school for the opening of classes. 💙💛

The height and weight measurement of our learners was conducted by our Division Nurse together with Ma'am Daisy T. Busain, Feeding Focal Person, and the teachers of Sibug Memorial Elementary School. This activity helps monitor the nutritional status and overall health of the learners to ensure appropriate support and interventions for their growth and development. Thank you to our health personnel and teachers for their commitment to the well-being of our students. 💙💛
