LOOK: KCNHS Conducts Citizenship Training Program (CTP) in Two Batches for Over 1,000 Learners
Kidapawan City National High School successfully held the Citizenship Training Program (CTP) on August 20, 2026, at the KCNHS Gymnasium, gathering more than 1,000 learners from both Regular Classes and Special Program tracks (STE, SPA, SPS, SPJ, SPFL).
Anchored on DepEd Order No. 21, s. 2019, the program emphasized the values of nationalism, patriotism, and civic responsibility. Learners from both batches actively engaged in sessions designed to strengthen discipline, leadership, and awareness of constitutional duties.
A highlight of the event was the recognition of PSDS Alma F. Agustin, EdD, who served as a Resource Speaker with the topic “Duties and Obligations of a Citizen under the Constitution”. Her insights and expertise enriched the learners’ understanding of citizenship education, inspiring them to become service‑oriented and responsible members of society.
The activity was coordinated by CTP Coordinator Julius C. Cervancia and supported by Principal Jundee S. Villegas, reflecting the school’s strong commitment to holistic education and nation‑building.
By organizing the program in two batches — Regular and Special Program classes — KCNHS ensured that all learners received equal opportunities to participate meaningfully in this vital training. The event reaffirmed the school’s role in shaping future leaders who embody unity, discipline, and civic responsibility.
