Rooted in the fundamental principle of social justice, the legal framework for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) is designed to dismantle barriers and foster an inclusive society. The provisions of the laws provided here go beyond mere accommodation; they affirm the inherent dignity and equal worth of every individual by guaranteeing substantive rights alongside special privileges. These laws ensure that PWDs are empowered to fully participate in nation-building, free from stigma and discrimination, and equipped with the necessary support to thrive independently.
