‎On February 13, 2026, the Guild of Linguaphiles celebrated their Indigay and Lulinghayaw 2026 feats with a well-deserved boodle fight alongside the GOL adviser, Dr. Sosas, at one of the old chemistry buildings at USM-KCC.🥳 The steaming rice and colorful viands connected the hearts and stomachs of the English club members, and remember this wonderful milestone once more.🍚🍉🍝

‎From the freshmen to the English student interns, they all came together to commemorate the significance and contributions of each individual.🧡 By opening the bag of Ae**us, they feasted through their hearts’ content. However, they shared the bonds of friendship, interests, and warmth that the club's members have accomplished thus far!👏

The Guild of Linguaphiles (GOL) secured major victories during the week-long celebration of Lulinghayaw 2026 after being hailed as 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤-𝐭𝐨-𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧 in Indigay 2026 with a total score of 910 points, while simultaneously earning 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐮𝐩 in the overall ranking of the academic organization category of Lulinghayaw 2026 with a remarkable score of 430 points, on January 31.

📖🙆Jotting Down Ideas and Fun: 2026 LinguaVibe Day🙆‍♀️📖

With a splash of Midas touch, the 2026 LinguaVibe Day went by without a hitch! On January 17, the Guild of Linguaphiles held a seminar/workshop with the theme "The Write Way Forward: Mapping Multi-Genre Success," to which the members of the English club joyfully participated in this marvelous opportunity to learn from guest speaker Prof. Lloyd Anton Von M. Colita. Moreover, they were also able to reflect on their capabilities and provoked positive reactions about establishing ideas, book writing, and tips in publications.🖋️🖊️

Prof. Colita emphasized the beauty of book reading and creation, that there are no limits when it comes to the quality of originality, and that we should release our inhibitions. His words, "The road to quality has no finish line," served as a powerful motivation, allowing anyone to write without fear or anxiety, and implying a strong urge that you can develop as well as refine your own craft.📝

As for the afternoon activities — singing, video skits, and yell competitions were held, graced by the board of judges' presence; Jona Ville L. Magtubo, LPT, Rano Mikael M. Jallorina, LPT, and Joemar James G. Bansil, LPT. The mini convention hall accumulated laughter, unity, and uniqueness as all the GOL members could truly appreciate the skills presented by their peers and enjoy to their hearts' content.🧡

And to wrap up the successful event, the GOL president, Czarina Amor H. Fabian, expressed her gratitude to every individual involved who made this LinguaVibe Day possible.🗨️💞

Let us wish our 4th year English student interns the best of luck in their Internship Deployment and future endeavors in teaching, practicing, learning, and creating this January 19, 2026!👩‍🏫👨‍🏫📑 They have yet to experience the intensity of teaching inside the four corners of the classroom, the flexibility of their skills and time management, and the intellectually stimulating and fulfilling life of an everyday educator.✨ From theses to lesson plans to manuals to visual aids to demo teachings and to everything all at once, they will have to learn to overcome this battle — a battle of wit, perseverance, confidence, and cooperation inside their assigned schools!🏫🏫🏫 Incoming late-night sessions will hit them like an emotional axe, and initiating rapport with new individuals will be the quest they will soon encounter; and it’s future challenges like these that our student interns will have to count on the support of the Guild of Linguaphiles more than ever, and the club’s encouraging roars will allow them to soar!
