Another milestone unlocked for Frederick!

During his very first session, Frederick learned how to solve the 3x3 Rubik’s Cube from scratch and successfully completed his first solve. From learning the basics to understanding the steps and algorithms, he showed great focus, determination, and willingness to improve throughout the session.

It’s always exciting to see a student experience the moment of solving the cube for the first time. This is only the start of his cubing journey, and there’s definitely more progress to come.

Keep turning and keep improving, Frederick!

Second Online Training Session with the Cameroon Cubers 🇨🇲

We continued focusing on F2L improvement and lookahead, aiming for smoother solves, fewer pauses, and better overall flow.

Joel & Arthur both learned more efficient ways of dealing with F2L, improving how they recognize and pair pieces. They are starting to move away from slow step-by-step solving and developing a more continuous approach. There is already visible progress compared to the first session.

FIRST Square-1 SOLVE!

A successful online session with Monkam!
In just one session, he was able to learn the basics of Square-1 and complete his first solve. From understanding the puzzle’s unique shape-shifting mechanics to applying the steps properly, he showed great focus and fast improvement throughout the lesson.

Square-1 is known for being one of the more challenging twisty puzzles, making this an exciting milestone in his cubing journey.

Great job, Monkam. Excited to see even more progress in the next sessions!

FROM 40-SECOND AVERAGES TO A 22-SECOND SOLVE!

Huge improvement from Giann after only a few sessions. When we started, he was averaging around 40 seconds with a personal best of 30 seconds. After working on F2L, improving efficiency, and changing his last layer method, he quickly started becoming more confident and consistent in his solves.

Now, he has reached a brand new personal best of 22.639 seconds!

This improvement shows how the right techniques and proper guidance can make a big difference in speedcubing. Super proud of the progress he’s made in such a short time, and we’re just getting started!

From improving his solving time to winning his first gold medal

Through consistent practice, patience, and adjusting some of his solving methods during our sessions, Marcus was able to improve both his speed and confidence in solving the Rubik’s Cube.

After a few sessions, all the hard work paid off as he won his first gold medal at the Toy Kingdom Rubik’s Cube Competition.

It’s always rewarding to see students grow not only in speed, but also in problem-solving, adaptability, and confidence. Excited to see even more progress with Marcus.

From 7 minutes ➝ 2 minutes in just a few sessions

Myles started with little to no experience in solving a Rubik’s Cube, and now he can already solve it with only minimal guidance. It’s amazing to see how quickly he learns and applies new techniques on his own.

Not only did he improve his solving time significantly, but he also became more confident in recognizing patterns and fixing his own mistakes independently. His progress shows how consistency, patience, and practice can lead to big improvements in a short amount of time.

Excited to see even more progress in the next sessions!
