Gender Equality, Not Under Equality
In today’s modern world, we tend to stay updated on the latest social media
trends or posts, but have you ever paused to think about how equal
opportunities can change someone’s life, or is gender equality only applicable
to those who are born privileged?—NO.
Gender equality is not a privilege—it’s your right as an individual.
Opportunities and rights for growth, recognition, education, and success,
despite one’s background, should be considered and applied to both genders
EQUALLY. We must not allow one gender to be UNDER the other, because
opportunities must be given equally to all people.
Together, we can make this world into a better place by removing stereotypes,
advocating against gender discrimination, and fostering environments where
EVERYONE can succeed. Equality starts with us— are you ready to be part of
the operation to change the unfair system?

You Are More Than Your Worst Day.

Mental health is something we all have, yet we sometimes forget to take care of it. There are days when we feel tired, stressed, or overwhelmed—and that is completely okay. We don’t always have to pretend that everything is fine or force a smile. Sometimes, we need to let our feelings out, speak up, and allow others to understand us.

Asking for help, talking to someone we trust, getting enough rest, and doing things we enjoy can help us feel better. Remember, you are not alone. It’s okay not to be okay sometimes. Be kind to yourself, and don’t be afraid to ask for support when you need it. Your life is precious, and with support, brighter days can come.

Take action today. Check in on Yourself, Reach Out to Someone You Trust, and Offer Support Without Judgment.

Think before you post—your words matter!

Social media gives us a powerful way to connect, learn, and express ourselves, but it also comes with responsibility.

Responsible social media use means thinking carefully before posting or sharing, respecting other people’s privacy, checking information before believing or spreading it, and treating others with kindness.

UNICEF Philippines encourages young people to verify information, respect privacy, avoid cyberbullying, and practice healthy online habits. What we do online can affect others and may leave a lasting digital footprint. By being responsible, we can help make social media a safer, more positive, and respectful space for everyone. Before you click “post” or “share,” pause and think: Is it true, kind, and safe? Start today by using social media wisely and encouraging others to do the same.

OUR HERITAGE, OUR IDENTITY, OUR RESPONSIBILITY.

Have you ever wondered what connects us to our ancestors across all generations? Our cultural heritage is more than just history—it is the living heart of every Filipino identity.

Cultural heritage goes beyond old buildings and artifacts, it lives in our languages, history, crafts, beliefs and landmarks. They carry the stories and values of our ancestors. The protection and promotion of cultural heritage in the Philippines is supported by Republic Act No. 7356 and the National Cultural Heritage Act of 2009 (R.A. 10066). The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) works with communities and with the Indigenous Peoples to help keep the traditions alive. Programs like the Schools of Living Traditions allow indigenous masters to pass on cultural knowledge, crafts and oral traditions to younger generations.

As young Filipinos, we can help by learning our history, respecting other cultures, supporting local artists and traditions, and sharing cultural knowledge responsibly. By safeguarding our heritage today, we help ensure that our roots remain meaningful for generations to come.

Learn it. Respect it. Support it. Experience local heritage sites, support community-based cultural projects, listen to the stories of our communities and responsibly share cultural traditions. Let us continue to keep our Filipino heritage alive together – not only for today, but for generations to come.

𝑩𝑼𝑳𝑳𝒀𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑺𝑻𝑶𝑷𝑺 𝑾𝑰𝑻𝑯 𝑼𝑺.

𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 is a serious issue that has existed for a long time and continues to happen today. It can occur anywhere in the world—at school, at home, in the community, or even online.

𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 can take many forms, including physical, verbal, social, and cyber𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴. No matter what form it takes, 𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 can negatively affect a person’s well-being, confidence, and ability to trust others. Everyone deserves to feel 𝘴𝘢𝘧𝘦, 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘥, and 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵𝘦𝘥, especially in school.

We should treat others with 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 instead of saying hurtful things or making them feel excluded. 𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 should not be tolerated, and we should speak up when we see it happening.

We aim to raise 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 through this infographic by helping people recognize the different types of 𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴, understand their effects, and learn how we can help prevent it.

MEDSCI-E is feeling extra E-motional today because it’s the birthday of our beloved adviser, Ma’am Kristine! 💚

As we celebrate the day our MATH-amazing adviser, Ma’am Kristine Mae Enghog, was born, our section prepared a simple surprise in our classroom through the giving of gifts and messages delivered by the officers, together with the students who volunteered to make this day memorable for all.

We, the MedSci-E, are very lucky to have you as our adviser. We wish you all the best in life, and may God continue to guide and bless you in all your dreams and endeavors. Your heart does really represent the color green because you give us peace and growth when you teach us math. Thank you for your patience, understanding, guidance, and gentleness that keep our journey on this track less stressful and more fulfilling. We are genuinely grateful to have you as our Adviser— our safe space. 💚
Fighting, our Engineer Kristine

NAHUMAN ANG TEST, NAHUMAN SAD MI. LOW SCORES PA JUD. 😭📚

Murag dili pa enough ang pressure sa summative test kay naapilan pa gyud ug low scores ug heartbreak. 💔

The summative test wasn’t just about answering questions on paper. For some, it was also about trying to hold it together despite everything happening outside the classroom. We left the room carrying different things—some were happy with their scores, some were disappointed, and some were trying to smile even after receiving messages they never wanted to read. 🥹

But one bad score doesn’t define our abilities, just as one breakup doesn’t define our worth. There will always be another quiz to improve our grades and another chance to move forward. 🌱

It may not have gone as planned, pero nisulod gihapon ta, gihuman nato ang summative, ug nalampasan nato ang adlaw. Sometimes, just showing up and making it through is already something to be proud of. ❤️✨

🌧️BAI, MAG ULI NA TA KAY ULAN KAAYO!?! 😭☔️

Teka lang… basin gusto pa jud ni Lord nga mag-bonding sa ta. 😔✋

While waiting for the rain to calm down, Medical Sciences E grabbed the opportunity to take class photos with our adviser, Ms. Kristine Enghog. 📸💙

Just like eukaryotic cells, every part of our class has its own role—and today, we were in one frame. From the loud ones to the quiet ones, from the crammers to the early birds, everyone made this rainy afternoon a little brighter. 🦠✨

Rainy days come and go, but moments like these are worth keeping. 💙🌿
