Dr. Buhay Leads Successful Training on the Neuroscience of Learning

Seventy-eight Child Development Workers and private preschool teachers from public and private institutions participated in the two-day Training on the Neuroscience of Learning for 3–4-Year-Old Children. The activity was made possible through the support of the LGU of Surallah, barangay councils, school administrators, the MSWDO, and the Schools Division Office, reflecting a strong commitment to quality early childhood education.

The training was facilitated by Dr. Flordeliza M. Buhay, Clinical Psychologist and School Administrator of School For Life, Inc. Drawing from her expertise in child development and psychology, Dr. Buhay highlighted the importance of understanding how young children's brains grow and learn during their formative years. She emphasized that educators who understand the science of learning are better equipped to create nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for every child.

The participants gained valuable knowledge and practical strategies that will help strengthen their teaching practices and support the holistic development of young learners.
