Throughout the month of September, our Grade 4 learners proudly led the Flag Ceremony and Interactive Communication, showcasing confidence, responsibility, and the spirit of leadership the Montessori way. From delivering news reports to sharing campus updates, they proved that every child can lead when given the opportunity.

Your confidence, preparation, teamwork, and enthusiasm made every Monday and Thursday assembly meaningful and inspiring.

CAMPUS NEWS | Faculty Converge to Navigate the New Grading System

In preparation for the implementation of the new grading system this School Year 2026–2027, the faculty of School For Life Montessori gathered for a productive convergence before the Learners' Wellness Break. The session focused on aligning assessment practices, clarifying grading policies, and ensuring a fair, accurate, and learner-centered evaluation process. Through meaningful discussions and collaborative planning, teachers strengthened their shared commitment to upholding academic excellence while staying true to the Montessori philosophy. As lifelong learners themselves, our educators continue to grow together to provide the best educational experience for every child.

Before Term 2 begins, our dedicated faculty and staff of School For Life Montessori took time to recharge, reconnect, and celebrate together over a delightful buffet lunch at Lanie's Café as part of our Teachers' Wellness Break.

Our heartfelt gratitude to Sir Nes and Doc Flo for this thoughtful treat. Beyond the delicious feast, it was a wonderful opportunity to strengthen our bonds, share laughter, and create meaningful memories together.
A refreshed and inspired team is ready to continue nurturing every child's love for learning.

Our teachers are at the heart of everything we do.

As we conclude the First Term, School For Life took time to pause, reflect, and grow together through the End-of-Term Consultation and Debriefing led by our School Administrator, Dr. Flordeliza M. Buhay.

By sharing their best moments, challenges, and learning experiences, our teachers strengthened not only their professional practice but also their commitment to every Montessori child. The session concluded with a simple breathing technique, a gentle reminder that caring for ourselves is essential to caring for others. Doc Buhay also offered a heartfelt prayer for strength, wisdom, and continued inspiration as they nurture our learners each day.

Healthy teachers nurture happy learners. Together, we continue to learn, reflect, and grow because excellence begins with the well-being of those who guide our children every day.

While the campus is quieter, our dedicated SFL Staff is making the most of this time through Operation Campus Clean-Up and Beautification, replanting, trimming overgrown plants, organizing garden spaces, and caring for every corner of our school.

We can't wait to welcome everyone back to a cleaner, greener, and more vibrant School For Life Montessori!

Yesterday, the SFL Montessori family came together for an intimate birthday dinner at Robata Japanese Restaurant to celebrate the birthday of our inspiring School President, Mr. Nestor L. Buhay.

It was a wonderful gathering filled with gratitude, and meaningful fellowship as the faculty and staff honored a leader whose vision, humility, and steadfast dedication continue to inspire our Montessori community. Even in retirement, Sir Nestor remains a guiding force behind the scenes, always supporting the growth and success of School For Life Montessori.

Thank you, Sir Nestor, for your selfless leadership, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to providing quality Montessori education. Your legacy continues to inspire generations of learners, teachers, and families.
