CAMPUS NEWS | Parents Unite in SFL Montessori's 1st General PTAA-Life Meeting
The spirit of collaboration and shared responsibility filled the campus as SFL Montessori successfully held its 1st General PTAA-Life Meeting for School Year 2026–2027 on August 15, 2026, drawing a remarkable number of parents and guardians committed to supporting the school's mission of holistic education.
The assembly opened with the President's Report presented by incumbent PTAA-Life President Mr. Warren F. Mariscal, who shared the association's accomplishments, financial updates, and initiatives that benefited the school community during the previous school year.
A major highlight of the meeting was the election of the new PTAA-Life Board of Directors. While the election committee canvassed the votes, Dr. Flordeliza M. Buhay, School Administrator, inspired parents through an engaging Positive Discipline Parenting Talk, emphasizing respectful guidance, consistency, and nurturing children through love and understanding.
Immediately after the official election results were announced, the newly elected board convened to organize the association and determine the officers who would serve for the new term. By unanimous confidence of his fellow board members, Mr. Warren F. Mariscal was once again elected as PTAA-Life President, making this his third consecutive year of dedicated service.
SFL Montessori congratulates the newly elected PTAA-Life Officers and extends its heartfelt appreciation to every parent and guardian whose presence and participation continue to strengthen the partnership between home and school.
Together, we continue building a stronger Montessori community, one family at a time.

When you ask your child, "What did you do in school today?" don't be surprised if the answer is, "The same work."
In Montessori education, repetition is not a sign that learning has stopped—it is a sign that learning is taking root. Children naturally repeat activities because they are mastering a skill, building concentration, strengthening independence, and gaining confidence. Every repetition refines their mind and develops their character.
So the next time your child proudly says they did the same activity again, celebrate it. Behind that simple answer is a child who is growing, learning, and becoming more capable each day.
