Stepping beyond the classroom and into the pharmaceutical industry, Cluster NEXUS officially commences its manufacturing pharmacy internship at Phaermatechnica Laboratory Inc. in Pulilan, Bulacan, marking a meaningful milestone in its professional development.

In line with this, the internship provides students the opportunity to observe firsthand the standards, systems, and processes that drive pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Back to another year level in BS Pharmacy, where the journey always comes with unexpected side effects like sleep deprivation, sudden caffeine dependence, random overthinking at 2 AM, and the classic “𝙠𝙖𝙮𝙖 𝙥𝙖 𝙗𝙖?” moment before every exam. We thought we were just moving forward but somehow we also came with a full list of academic reactions we never read in the syllabus. Still, despite all the stress-induced symptoms, we keep going because in this course, even the side effects are part of the process.

The KDCI BS Pharmacy Department officially welcomed its faculty members for Academic Year 2026–2027 through Panag-Ila, an avenue for students to get acquainted with the educators, mentors, and professionals who will help shape their academic and professional growth. More than a simple introduction, the activity fostered connection, familiarity, and a shared commitment to excellence as another year of learning unfolds.

After all, every great pharmacist starts with great teachers—and now, the names behind the lessons have faces to match.

The internship provides students opportunities to witness firsthand standard, systems, and processes that drive pharmaceutical manufacturing. Through this industry immersion, the future pharmacists of Cluster NEXUS are expected to strengthen their technical competencies, broaden their professional perspectives, and translate academic knowledge into practical experience.

Cluster DILIGERE officially begins its Hospital Pharmacy Internship, marking a crucial milestone in the journey of future pharmacists toward clinical excellence and patient-centered care. This internship provides students with immersive exposure to hospital pharmacy operations, including medication dispensing, drug utilization review, clinical pharmacy services, and interdisciplinary healthcare collaboration.

Through this experience, interns will strengthen their clinical knowledge, communication skills, and decision-making abilities as they engage in real-world healthcare settings and contribute to safe and effective medication use for patients.

Cluster GENFORTIS on its Manufacturing Internship at Yaki Herbal Laboratories, where interns gain hands-on exposure to herbal pharmaceutical production, quality assurance, and essential manufacturing processes that ensure the safety and effectiveness of herbal products.

GENFORTIS is a coined Latin-inspired name formed from Gen, derived from Generalis meaning general, united, collective, and encompassing all, and Fortis, a Latin word meaning strong, brave, courageous, and steadfast. Together, GENFORTIS carries the meaning “United in Strength and Courage”.

Through this experiential learning opportunity, the interns will engage in various public health programs and initiatives, gaining valuable exposure to disease prevention, health promotion, community outreach, and population-based healthcare services. This internship will further strengthen their knowledge, skills, and understanding of the pharmacist’s vital role in advancing public health and improving the well-being of communities.
