Bago ang INSET, may “shake-up” muna!

Before the learning sessions begin, the KCNHS DRRM Team conducted an Earthquake Drill on September 10, 2026, as part of the 3rd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) and the school’s emergency protocol.

Because before we train the mind, we make sure everyone knows how to protect themselves when the ground decides to move.

Duck. Cover. Hold. Evacuate.
Hindi lang dapat alam sa training, dapat handa sa actual.

Safety first, INSET next!
Preparedness is not a drill-it’s a mindset.

🚨 RUN. HIDE. FIGHT. — KCNHS ACTIVE SHOOTER EMERGENCY PROTOCOL 🚨

Sa panahon ng emergency, mahalaga ang kahandaan, tamang desisyon, at mabilis na pagkilos.

🏃 RUN — Lumayo sa banta at agad na magtungo sa ligtas na lugar.

🚪 HIDE — Kung hindi makatakbo, manatili sa loob ng silid-aralan. I-lock ang pinto, patayin ang ilaw, takpan ang mga bintana, manahimik, at manatiling mababa.

🛡️ FIGHT — Gawin lamang bilang huling paraan kung ikaw ay nasukol at wala nang ibang ligtas na opsyon.

Kapag ligtas na at malinaw nang wala na ang banta, lumikas patungo sa itinakdang evacuation area. Maglakad nang mabilis, manatiling kalmado, at sundin ang mga tagubilin ng DRRM personnel.

Ang video simulation na ito ay bahagi ng KCNHS School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (SDRRM) initiatives upang maitaguyod ang safety awareness, preparedness, at emergency response ng buong school community.

A thorough inspection of Senior High School Building 1 was conducted to identify potential hazards involving the ceiling, walls, and other building structures that may pose risks to learners and school personnel.

The inspection was led by Engr. AlJerald R. Palma, together with the School Principal Sir Jundee Villegas, SHS Assistant Principal Atrene Lonzaga, Supply Officer Marvyn Comaling and SDRRM Coordinator Mark Vencint T. Lubi with Sir Bryan T. Balmediano, as part of the school’s continuing efforts to ensure a safe, secure, and disaster-resilient learning environment.

Through regular inspection, early identification of hazards, and timely intervention, we strengthen our commitment to protecting the entire school community.

The School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Team of Kidapawan City National High School, together with Principal Jundee S. Villegas, has taken a proactive step in strengthening campus safety by crafting a School Contingency Plan for Shooting Incidents.

This initiative is part of the school's continuing commitment to enhance emergency preparedness by establishing clear response protocols, identifying the roles and responsibilities of response teams, and ensuring a coordinated course of action should such an emergency occur.

Through careful planning and collaboration, the school aims to provide a safer and more secure learning environment for learners, teaching and non-teaching personnel, and stakeholders.

By continuously improving its preparedness measures, Kidapawan City National High School reaffirms its commitment to fostering a culture of safety, resilience, and readiness. Together, we prepare today to better protect our school community tomorrow.

KCNHS Participates in Nationwide 2nd Quarter Simultaneous Earthquake Drill today, June 18

Students, teachers, and school personnel of Kidapawan City National High School (KCNHS) actively took part in the Nationwide 2nd Quarter Simultaneous Earthquake Drill, reinforcing the importance of disaster preparedness and safety awareness.

The drill proceeded smoothly as students, teachers, and satff calmly and orderly followed the school’s evacuation procedures and safety protocols. Guided by the KCNHS Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Team, the activity served as a practical exercise to ensure that everyone is prepared to respond appropriately in the event of an actual earthquake.

Through continuous drills and preparedness activities, KCNHS remains committed to fostering a culture of safety and resilience within the school community.
