𝐂𝐌𝐂 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐊𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐢𝐥𝐭

Colors, creativity, and a shared appreciation for nature came together as CMC student artists Reicee Weine G. Conanan, Andrea Lynn C. Lunjas, Willianne Claire V. Enghog, Sophie Amber Arcillas, and Sweet Lyn Stockwell completed their entry in Kidapawan City’s Botanical Mural Painting Competition, held September 22–26, 2026, at the Eco Park, Barangay Magsaysay. Their work joined 14 other qualified entries in the citywide competition, with the official announcement of winners set for Wednesday, September 30, 2026.

More than showcasing artistic talent, the activity also reflects the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities through community-based public art, SDG 4 – Quality Education through experiential and creative learning, and SDG 15 – Life on Land by promoting appreciation for nature and biodiversity. The competition itself was designed to highlight creativity, public service, and appreciation for nature through art.

Kyla Jean Nacilla of Central Mindanao Colleges–Senior High School (CMC-SHS) earned a Silver finish in the Girls’ Chess competition during the KPRISAA Meet 2026, held at the Kidapawan Doctors College, Inc. Campus, securing her qualification for the City Meet 2026.

Displaying focus, patience, and strategic thinking throughout the competition, Nacilla delivered a commendable performance against fellow student-athletes from participating private schools.

Her Silver finish not only marked an impressive achievement for CMC-SHS but also earned her the opportunity to advance to the next level of competition, where she will once again represent the school in the City Meet 2026.

Shenna Joyce Bautista of Central Mindanao Colleges–Senior High School (CMC-SHS) delivered a winning performance in the Tennis Singles competition, capturing Gold in the KPRISAA Meet 2026 and earning her qualification for the City Meet 2026.

With focus, confidence, and determination on the court, Bautista battled her way to the top and secured the championship for CMC-SHS, adding another proud achievement to the school’s campaign in this year’s athletic meet.

Behind her successful run was Coach Ms. Lhsyl Mae Ducusin, whose guidance, preparation, and support helped Bautista rise to the challenge and deliver when it mattered most.

The CMC-SHS Billiards Team delivered a championship performance in the KPRISAA Meet 2026, held at Clouds Billiard Center on September 11, 2026, with Leonard Rey Aguanan emerging as Champion in 9-Ball and Nico John Orjenes claiming the Championship in 8-Ball.

With their gold-winning performances, both players officially qualified for the City Meet 2026, earning the opportunity to represent CMC-SHS at the next level of competition.

With composure, precision, and focus at the table, Aguanan and Orjenes showcased excellent control and competitive spirit, bringing another proud victory to the CMC Lions.

Guiding the champions throughout the competition was Coach Romnick Elladora, whose support and preparation contributed to the team’s strong showing.

Central Mindanao Colleges–Senior High School (CMC-SHS) emerged as the Gold Champion in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Special Event of the KPRISAA Meet 2026, sweeping the competition with a 100% win rate against fellow private senior high school contenders.

Competing against Notre Dame of Kidapawan College (NDKC) and NVC, the CMC Esports team showcased exceptional teamwork, strategy, and composure throughout the tournament, remaining unbeaten from start to finish.

Out of the three participating private senior high schools, CMC proved its dominance in the special event, securing the top spot and bringing pride to the school community through an impressive and flawless performance.

The victory reflects not only the players’ gaming skills but also their discipline, coordination, and determination to represent CMC-SHS with excellence in the KPRISAA Meet 2026.

The CMC-SHS Volleyball Girls delivered a strong and spirited performance in the championship match of the KPRISAA Meet 2026, going head-to-head with Team NDKC on September 12, 2026, at Colegio de Kidapawan.

With every rally and every point, the team showed determination, discipline, teamwork, and heart. Although they fell short of the championship title and finished with Silver, their performance on the court proved just how much fight and character this team carries.

Guiding the team throughout the competition were Coach Prince Rouvinn G. Rodriguez and Assistant Coach Hazel Dream N. Garcia, whose leadership and support helped the players give their best until the final whistle.

Displaying consistency, discipline, and competitive spirit throughout his events, Granito emerged as one of CMC’s standout athletes, proving his determination across multiple categories and securing a well-deserved place in the next level of competition.

His impressive five-podium finish reflects not only individual skill but also the dedication developed through training under the guidance of Coach Mareveth M. Fordan.

Central Mindanao Colleges–Senior High School (CMC-SHS) delivered a spirited and determined performance against Notre Dame of Kidapawan College (NDKC) in an electrifying championship battle for a coveted City Meet berth, finishing with a well-earned Silver finish after an intense display of skill, heart, and sportsmanship.

The highly anticipated matchup kept the energy high as both teams fought relentlessly on the court, with CMC-SHS refusing to back down against a formidable NDKC squad. NDKC eventually secured the victory, 62–61, while CMC-SHS concluded its impressive campaign with a Silver finish.

Although the Gold slipped beyond their reach, the result hardly tells the whole story. The CMC-SHS basketball team showed composure, determination, teamwork, and fighting spirit throughout the competition proving that a championship performance is measured not only by the final standing, but also by the courage shown until the final buzzer.

Central Mindanao Colleges–Senior High School (CMC-SHS) proudly fielded 64 student-athletes during the KPRISA Athletic Meet 2026, held on September 11–12, 2026, joining athletes from 14 other private schools in Kidapawan City in two days of competition, sportsmanship, and school pride.

Representing the CMC Lions, the 64-member delegation competed across various sporting events, showcasing their athletic skills, discipline, teamwork, resilience, and determination throughout the meet.

The competition brought together 15 participating private schools, with student-athletes vying for top finishes and opportunities to qualify for the City Meet 2026. Several CMC-SHS athletes and teams delivered outstanding performances, with qualifiers earning the opportunity to advance and represent the private-school sector at the next level of competition.

More than the final standings, the KPRISA Athletic Meet provided CMC-SHS student-athletes with an opportunity to grow through competition learning to perform under pressure, respect their opponents, accept both victory and defeat, and carry themselves with sportsmanship.

The participation of the 64 CMC Lions reflects the institution’s continuing commitment to holistic education, recognizing sports as an important avenue for developing healthy, disciplined, resilient, and well-rounded learners.

As the KPRISA Athletic Meet 2026 concludes, CMC-SHS celebrates every athlete who stepped onto the court, field, table, and playing venue carrying the name and colors of the institution.

Win or lose, they competed as one. They represented as one. They roared as CMC Lions.
