𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞┃The College of Technology (COT) Local Student Government (LSG) gathered yesterday afternoon to discuss plans and activities for the upcoming College of Technology Day this March 27 as tentative date. Mayors and representatives from various programs attended the meeting, where Governor Christian Gabaisen and Board Member Prince Edrian Baon shared information, plans, and activities regarding the said event.

The meeting served as a platform for informing mayors and the students about the event reinforcing the students participation and LSG-COT's commitment as student leaders. It also serves as an opportunity for mayors or representatives to raise questions and provide suggestions in order to make our COT DAY enjoy and memorable.

The 2nd Pinning and Hard Hatting Ceremony was successfully held at the University of Southern Mindanao-Kidapawan City Campus (USMKCC) Covered Court last January 15, 2026 gathering students, faculty and staff in acknowledging the milestones of 3rd and 4th year students.

Pinning is a symbolic ritual that acknowledges students successful completion of foundational coursework and their readiness to their specialized training. Meanwhile, hard hatting plays a vital role as it represents the students’ preparedness to engage in hands-on fieldwork, laboratory activities, or industrial training providing essential personal protective equipment while emphasizing the importance of safety protocols, professionalism, and responsibility in their line of work. This is the testament of their hardwork, dedication and their passion to keep going and soar high leading to their dreams.
