Leonard John Galozo secured a silver medal at the Kadayawan 2026 Mindanao Invitational Kickboxing Tournament held on August 15, 2026, at LPU in Davao City.

Equipped with a mindset centered on giving everything he has regardless of victory or defeat, Galozo stepped into the competition determined to stay sharp, embrace the challenge, and continue learning. This achievement adds to his growing record as a 2x Gold and 5x Combat Sports Silver Medalist across Muay Thai, Wushu Sanda, and Kickboxing, from the novice level to the 18+ Elite category.

Galozo credited his family as his constant foundation and expressed gratitude to his coach, Kru Augustus Collado Guhiling, for guiding him with discipline, resilience, and the mentality of a fierce fighter. He also thanked Kidapawan Doctors College Inc. for entrusting him to represent the school.

To fellow and aspiring combat athletes, Galozo leaves a simple message: โ€˜โ€™Keep grinding, and never give up. If you fall short, learn from it so you donโ€™t repeat your past mistakes. Above all, stay humble and make sure you enjoy the journey, both inside and outside the ring.โ€™โ€™

His achievement not only adds another milestone to his growing combat sports journey but also brings pride to Kidapawan Doctors College, inspiring fellow students to pursue excellence both inside and outside the ring.

Following a rigorous selection and evaluation process, KDCEYE proudly unveils its Editorial Board for Publication Year 2026โ€“2027.
This yearโ€™s Editorial Board embodies a new generation of storytellers, writers, and creatives who are ready to bring fresh perspectives, meaningful narratives, and fearless voices to the forefront. With every story they tell, they carry the responsibility of informing the community, encouraging critical thought, and giving space to voices that deserve to be heard.
More than simply reporting what happens, KDCEYE seeks to tell stories that matterโ€”to document experiences, challenge perspectives, spark conversations, and reflect the realities of the student community.
As we welcome this new team, KDCEYE looks forward to another year of purposeful journalism, creative expression, and stories shaped by truth and driven by purpose.
Hereโ€™s to a new chapter of voices that inform, stories that inspire, and journalism that makes a difference.

The City Convention Center came alive for the City Dance and Choreography Workshop on August 8 to 9, 2026. Held as a highlight of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, this event gathered young talents from all over the city to learn, move, and share their passion for dancing. Adding pride to the venue were our very own KDCI student participants, Leannie D. Rusiana and Kirtly Stefhien Waga, who stepped up to represent the school and soak in every moment of this learning journey.
Guided by Dr. Corazon O. Agustin and Mr. Allan Mama Laguyo, the workshop was a treasure trove of fun and inspiration. Through lectures, live demos, and hands-on exercises, Leannie, Kirtly, and their fellow youth explorers discovered that dancing is much more than stepping to the beat. They learned the magic behind basic techniques, movement exploration, and choreography, turning every step into a meaningful story of creativity and self-expression.
More than just mastering dance moves, this two-day gathering became a space for friendship, teamwork, and big dreams. With every beat of the music, young Kidapaweรฑos and student dancers proved that when youth hit the dance floor, they can step up, spark change, and shine bright. True to the spirit of "Isang Linggo, Isang Kabataan, Isang Kidapawan," our representatives showed that the future of our community is full of rhythm, heart, and great potential.
