Breaking free from the "kumitid"- A call for Open-minded Leadership.

Sometimes we get caught in our own "kumitid" - that narrow mindset that limits our potential as leaders. Our leadership and budget proposal training on July 2-3 at Munting Hardin, Kidapawan City was all about breaking through those barriers.

๐Š๐ ๐ฐ๐. ๐„๐ซ๐ฐ๐ข๐ง ๐Ž๐›๐ž๐๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ข๐จ challenged us to step beyond our comfort zones and embrace leadership that's truly open to new perspectives. His session reminded us that breaking free from rigid thinking patterns takes real courage and sustained commitment.

๐‹๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š ๐…๐š๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐. ๐ƒ๐ข๐ž๐ณ, ๐Œ๐๐€, showed us how open-minded approaches to budget planning can transform our proposals from routine documents into strategic tools. Her expertise helped us see beyond traditional methods.

We were deeply honored by the visit of our Vice President for Academic Affairs, ๐‚๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐š ๐ƒ. ๐‚๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ง๐š, ๐๐ก.๐ƒ. and Vice President for Admin and Finance, ๐‰๐ก๐จ๐š๐ง๐ง๐ž ๐. ๐Œ๐š๐ค๐š๐ฌ๐ข๐ฆ๐›๐ฎ๐š๐ฅ, ๐‘๐, ๐‹๐๐“, ๐Œ๐€๐„๐Œ, ๐‚๐€๐. Their presence and wisdom reminded us that true leadership must be grounded in humility, integrity, and pure intentions - values that should guide every decision we make.

The truth hit home: open-minded leadership isn't just about being willing to listenโ€”it's about having the courage to question our own assumptions and the commitment to act on better ideas, even when they challenge what we've always done.

Time to leave the "kumitid" behind and lead with broader vision!

THE HEART OF EVERY HOME

Today, we honor the heart of every homeโ€”our mothers, the women who cradled us through fevers, celebrated our smallest victories, and loved us when we felt unlovable.

In your quiet strength and fierce protection, you showed us what love truly means through late nights, early mornings, and countless sacrifices that never went unnoticed, even when we forgot to say it. Whether you're rocking a newborn, guiding a teenager, welcoming children into your heart through marriage or adoption, or standing in when others couldn't, know that in your tired eyes and gentle hands, we found our first homeโ€”and no matter how far we wander, you remain our foundation, our comfort, our courage, loved beyond measure.

Happy mother's day!
