Seven teacher-participants together with their school principal, Mr. Lyndon A. Quines, from Emilio Jose Sr. Elementary School enthusiastically joined the 2026 Division Research Congress at Viewpoint Hotel, Digos City. The teachers as researchers showed the spirit and culture of research by presenting their own studies;

Each study highlighted innovative interventions and creative approaches aimed at advancing students' learning experiences and promoting holistic development. From improving phonemic awareness among young learners to strengthening reading comprehension across grade levels, and from addressing at-risk studentsโ academic needs to fostering positive behavior and inclusivity, the presenters demonstrated how classroom-based research can shape more responsive and impactful educational practices.
However, behind the smiles of the teachers, the school community also expressed deep sympathy for Mrs. Remedios C. Cayaban, Grade 5 teacher, who was unable to present her research due to a sudden loss. Her colleagues and the entire school stand in solidarity with her during this difficult time, offering prayers and support.
The 2026 Division Research Congress is more than an avenue for academic exchange. It serves as a testament to the schoolโs collective dedication to educational innovation, reflective practice, and professional growth. Through the continued leadership of Mr. Quines and the passion of its teachers, the school remains steadfast in its mission to foster a thriving environment where research is valued, encouraged, and celebrated.
